  • Hi! Does anyone know if it's okay to return an item at Tescos if it was bought using a coupon? And, if so, should I point that out? (Since you can't tell what the coupon was used for just from looking at the receipt...) Or is all this a bit imoral or dodgy...

    hi RG

well the coupon does say one per customer so they were within rights to refuse other 2
so really nothing to do with price change/aldi

so you had luck with you the 1st time

I tried to use 3 coupons yesterday at S but the till would only accept 1. However the supervisor did override and accept the other 2. Not usual in my local store but I think they are now being hit by more people using Aldi which has been open a few months.

When the soups were on offer the till took 4 mocs without any problem but presumably has been stopped when price went up.
  • thanks nicole

this information is already on 1st pages
which is why we are always recommended people read them

I emailed last week, regarding using of internet coupons in one store but them being rejected in a store only 3 or 4 miles away.

For your information, we currently accept conditional spend coupons from the following competitors:
    Asda
    Morrisons
    Sainsburys
    Co-op
    Marks & Spencer
    Waitrose
    Boots
    Aldi

This is what they said, HTH. Might be worth an email, print it out and just keep it in your bag :)

Hi there, can I just ask and please don't take this the wrong way, as it isn't meant to cause arguments in any way, but what is the reason you don't allow people on here to exchange coupons by email? Just interested to know.
  • welcome leon

please take the time to read first pages, it takes a while but its well worth it

    HAPPY COUPONING

OMG. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Thanks for saving us loads of money. You are the very best. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.

Just been to get my Mail and Mirror, and off to Mr T to use them both, and the £2 Sainsbob voucher, and some more Cambells.

    :kisses3: You are very sweet!
  • hi F and welcome

i have myself answered this many time and posted board/forum rules links to first pages
yes we try to help in other but its not our rules but rules set out by MSE
exchanging of personal details are allowed

see my earlier post for links

all we ask is that people take the time to read first pages

we don't mind answering questions but it can be time consuming and take up alot of room when you have to answer the same questions over very few posts or when information is clearly on 1st pages ( not always granted) but mostly is

So am I. We all try to help each other the best we can here on MSE and to ask for 1 favour in return should not be to much to ask.

A simple explanation would suffice rather than a snappy comment intended to ridicule some one.
  • hi art
i theory yes you can but some have found the driver has no idea what to do with them:eek:

so would depend on how clued up you store/driver is i'm afraid

Hi all - does anyone know if you can use MOCs for online delivery - OK to hand them to the driver? Just asked on the Tesco code thread but guess their still recovering from their late-night internet shopping!
Thanks in advance and to all the posters of said coupons.
