  • nipped into Asdas at lunch time, used 4 x re loaded and 3 x heinz fivez no problems - my local has the fivez reduced to 30p - also they have the cheddar beans reduced to 30p

    so 1 x fivez, 2 x cheddar: coupon scans at 85p = 5p for 3 beans :)

also got a free lunch as had a £2 gift card from when they overcharged me.

Do self scans have a limit regarding coupons?

I was in a rush in Tesco and they only had about 3 cashiers on as it was really early, so I used the self scan.

I bought 3 tins of the Baxter's Healthy soup, 3 for £2, scanned 2 coupons no trouble, tried the 3rd and it requested an assistant.

She asked if it was an internet coupon, said they didn't take them if they didn't have Safe Coupons written on.

I didn't say I used a few the other day when using a cashier.

Didn't scan my clubcard either when asked.

I was peed off because I had spent £1 instead of 50p for 3 tins of soup which I wouldn't normally buy.

Don't mind paying 50p but £1. grrrrrrr!

    :D

I would have given them the soup back, if ever they won't take a coupon for something, I always say well I don't want them and give them back.

I do if I am going through a checkout but as I really did ony lose 50p I couldn't be bothered (not that I lost 50p but you know what I mean).

By the way the chicken and veg soup was lovely.

    ;)
  • Boltonboy, do you go to the Horwich Middlebrook store? That's my local, not been for a few weeks...am hoping they'll still take mocs :(

i go to the Astley bridge one and they were fine again today... but im sure that the new policy will filter down eventually. The horwich one is great for moc on a Tuesday.. no idea why but the cashiers there told me they get loads of people in with moc on a tuesday and they love it cos it keeps them busy. tescos horwich is sometimes dicey though.. depends who you get.

    xx cath

No joy using Chrome, (same issue as juliet f) but I printed OK using Internet Explorer in XP, and using the same email addy. Just one coupon though.
