I have just read about asda trying to say they wont accept ANY internet printed coupons but surely they can't seen as their on APG coupon is printed from the internet.
Will be interesting to see how that works out, do we think they will start doing as sainsburys do and give a coupon there and then at checkout
Thats a good point, I just think thigs get made up as they go along
  • Well it's their loss. I won't be shopping at Asda if that's the case, I appreciate that people don't have a choice of supermarkets though.

Yet again the minority (eBay fakers) ruin it for the majority.
We should all start reporting the ebay fakers to e bay and hopefully put a stop to them ruining it for us.

Heinz 5 Beanz are 5 tins for £3 in Tesco until 4th December - coupon ends next Wednesday though.
McCains chips for £1 ends in Sainsbury's tomorrow - 50p with coupon and 30p if "buying" 2 tins of Heinz 5 Beanz. S/scan tills scan 3 coupons up to £2.50 max before needing over-riding. McCains chips in Tesco for £1 until 3rd December.
I got Bertolli for 25p today using 2 x Heinz 5 Beans and 50p Bertolli coupon (Bertolli 95p in Sainsbury's).

Matchmakers are £1.12 in Morries until 31/12/12.
Another option if you don't fancy or have issues in ASDA.

12p in Morries rather than free in ASDA, but may save time for some if Morries is near.
12p is not a bad price for a box of Matchmakers (with £1 coupon) anyway. :D

Do self scans have a limit regarding coupons?

I was in a rush in Tesco and they only had about 3 cashiers on as it was really early, so I used the self scan.

I bought 3 tins of the Baxter's Healthy soup, 3 for £2, scanned 2 coupons no trouble, tried the 3rd and it requested an assistant.

She asked if it was an internet coupon, said they didn't take them if they didn't have Safe Coupons written on.

I didn't say I used a few the other day when using a cashier.

Didn't scan my clubcard either when asked.

I was peed off because I had spent £1 instead of 50p for 3 tins of soup which I wouldn't normally buy.

Don't mind paying 50p but £1. grrrrrrr!

    :D
  • Do you think it would help if we all 'reported' the fraudulent ebay sellers? x
