Money off coupon 'chat' thread

So the woman with the coupons was not doing any good for us really, mis-using them like mad

Hoping tomorrow when I go into Tesco with mine they accept them all and don't change their coupon policy overnight.

Also just wondering how do people go about finding the vouchers? Do you search random sites? I would love to be able to find one but I never can.

as to finding coupons , don't have much luck myself , just seem to stumble on the odd one. you can get a few from newsletters
seems to be loads appearing on FB too

Thanks for the reply, I hope it doesn't been getting a fair few things ready for my first house, for the salvation army and for my own shopping so fingers crossed they will just stick to the their own and manufacturers as long as you have bought the product.

I will look through Tesco and look for company names and then check their websites for coupons........:o

All i could think when they were showing her putting the wad of MOCs through the till was campells = nooo they are meant to be one per transaction.

You have now highlighted the huge amount of coupon abuse that happens :T Your 15 mins of fame will probably be the end to many a coupon.

You openly abused coupons when you were at the checkout and you took MSE down with you BRAVO!

Spend a little time every day on internet money saving sites, where people are more than happy to share their bargains, tips, voucher codes, and advice. I use moneysavingexpert.com forums and Hotukdeals.

Just watched the penny pinching show on channel 4, and had to vent my frustration on here.
The fact that the woman in question used coupons on TV doesnt affect me, but what really got me mad was her attitude towards charity.
Ok she hosted the charity lunch and made lots of money..... but did she pay for her lunch? did she make a contribution? No she just took her £15 expenditure and had a free lunch....... something very immoral about this i think. After all the money she has saved with coupons... surely she could afford to not take her expenditure out of the profit?

The Unileaver (Sp?!) were deffo misused as she had at least 3 Viennetta's and a pack of magnum's yet they are only one per person.

The charity thing is what also got me......what a selfish selfish woman.......she laughed about it as well! What a disgrace. Fingers crossed this doesn't spoil it for the rest of us who play by the rules.

thing is there are people now after seeing that that will think way hey would like trying that and that show was when old coupon policies were in place and they won't realise
