  • nooo thank god! i wouldn't want to do a big feature on it because i'm only really a newbie at it. Plus I've also heard to the same thing about people being refused in shops for it. Plus I'm not a major couponer like the couple in the article. I am still nervous to hand them over in the shops. I get trouted constantly :/

just a warning, I read news article the other day saying that someone has issued very clever, very accurate e-mails from "facebook" saying such things about violating facebook policy etc. If it was an e-mail, it's a good chance it's someone trying to get your details, and if it was on your account itself, you may well have been hacked. :(

Mine too, I got an email saying my profile was fake. Then further down the list of emails I had a stroppy one from Unilever VIP saying they take duplicate accounts to obtain vouchers seriously and that I would be reported to Facebook.

Everyone of my Facebook accounts has been closed and in the email linked to the accounts I have the stroppy email from Unilever. :(

This is the email that I got from Unilever. It's starts off nice enough then turns sour.

    "Hi XXXX,

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of Unilever VIP. It’s been great to see so many people getting involved in our community and to see such great feedback and creative ideas from our members.

However, we have observed a number of people creating multiple Facebook accounts allowing users to receive multiple coupons and rewards. We would like to take this opportunity to remind our VIPs that it is against the Terms & Conditions of both Unilever VIP and also Facebook, to create multiple accounts for the purpose of personal and monetary gain.

Rest assured that we will be taking the necessary action against members who are suspected of this type of activity and will be reporting them to Facebook. In addition, these suspected accounts may also be blocked from accessing the Unilever VIP application.

    Kind regards,
    The Unilever VIP Team"
