1. how do you store your coupons?
in a coupon wallet, can be anything! an envelope, a plastic wallet, a specially bought coupon folder from america! anything that suits you!
2. when do you know how to use them at the best time?
MyrtleTurtle also known as MT has a shopping list on the coupon thread, that tells you where the best bargains are for the coupons you may hold. Also check mysupermarket for prices of products you have coupons for, read the chat on the coupon thread, people helpfully post where they have seen best prices.
3. how many do you print out - can you only print one per person?
with Supersavvyme, you can print 2 coupons per supermarket, ie tesco and sainsbury. PDF coupons you can print more than one, until expiry date.
if you want more coupons, you need another computer.
4. what sort of routine do you have - how much time do you spend doing this?
no routine. I check coupon thread for where best bargains or when out shopping I check prices of things I have coupons for.
5. do I need to invest a LOT of time at the beginning to get it all going, and then less time in future? Just printing the MSE and SSM vouchers took about 4 hours.
that is because you were printing for the first time! SSSM vouchers will no longer print from same computer if you have already printed them.
6. Where do you get cheap printer paper from!
I do mystery shopping and they pay for my paper. otherwise look for bargains when out shopping, reduced price paper in staples, sainsburys, tesco, etc.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and noticed that some coupons on PDFs are double sided (the Kingsmill 50/50 coupon), do you have to print both sides and in colour? Or just the side with the barcode?0

it can be black and white, and I would print the side with the barcode and the the blurb that goes with it.0 -
I know you are all busy talking about the C4 programme, but could I interupt for some newbie couponing advice! -
I've always used coupons...and...I'd like to use them a bit more, especially as things are very tight for our family at the moment and I need to get more money savvy where I can.
I would genuinely appreciate any advice you can give me. AND if I have missed a FAQ question thread please re-direct me!
Thanks
Hi 2ba3c - if you just want to do nothing more than simply 'click and print' your coupons without giving out any personal details there's a thread on this site that gives you these coupons.
Just google or put into 'Forum Search' near top of this page:
Supermarket-only PDF money-off coupons
You can then just click on any coupon and print out as many copies of it as you like.
I know this - because I do it all the time!0 -
