Sadly coupon abuse is rife on MSE and like everything else it will eventually spoil it for eveyone else. Bad day for honest couponers.

Personally I think Martin should publicly distance himself and MSE from the Channel 4 program. He should openly state that this women abuses coupons and abuse of this manner should not be condoned.

If hes on TV / Radio tomorrow thats the place to start...

Depends if this is true. It's apparent from other threads on MSE that coupon abuse is rife and nothing is being done about it. One thread in particular there are people openly asking for people to email them a copy of the comfort coupon as some people have them saved to their PC. Then you get posters openly bragging that they got 40 bottles of comfort  for next to nothing.

  • I've spent internet coupons (according to terms) in store one day and returned to the same store the following day with other internet coupons and have been told they don't accept them at all (and got a nice £15 giftcard after complaint). Then again I was in S**nsb*rys with a 50p off Blue Dragon Sauce and CS was going to put it through as free until i stopped her and told her it was just 50p off. Honesty needed from customers, staff training needed in regard to coupons to keep the ying and yang.

I know you are all busy talking about the C4 programme, but could I interupt for some newbie couponing advice! -

I've always used coupons, but not all the time - and having watched Extreme couponing in the US and C4, I'd like to use them a bit more, especially as things are very tight for our family at the moment and I need to get more money savvy where I can.

I printed lots out last night from SSM - and some from the MSE thread - but can someone point me in the right direction/answer a couple of questions that I haven't been able to find the answers:-

    1. how do you store your coupons?
    2. when do you know how to use them at the best time?
    3. how many do you print out - can you only print one per person?
    4. what sort of routine do you have - how much time do you spend doing this?
    5. do I need to invest a LOT of time at the beginning to get it all going, and then less time in future? Just printing the MSE and SSM vouchers took about 4 hours.
    6. Where do you get cheap printer paper from!

I would genuinely appreciate any advice you can give me. AND if I have missed a FAQ question thread please re-direct me!

    Thanks :)
