Hey Guys, can any of you point me in the direction of offer codes for places like Currys & Dixons?
I'm having a new kitchen fitted and stupidly told the housing that I would have new appliances etc so it's being built round these measurements but my other half has since lost his job! We theregore need to save every penny we can on purchasing things!
Sorry to hear about OH, if you g to the top of the page and click on discount codes and vouchers, this will take you to the main thread. Click on forum tools, in the green bar, search this thread, and put in comet curry. This will bring up any threafs about codes.
Good luck to OH, hope he finds something else soon.0 -
Sorry to hear about your OH's job Mickey P. Have you checked out Appliances Online? They are really good and reliable and their prices were much better than any of the big electrical stores even when you took into account special offers and codes etc-we were very short of money when we moved into here and had to supply all our own white goods, our fridge freezer; cooker and washing machine were about £700 altogether and were each going for up to £100 more on the websites of major electrical retailers. Another thing to look into is small local appliance shops; they often have end of line models/ex display or refurbished for much cheaper but they are as good as new (if not actually new), you can also barter with them. xx0

Thanks guys, we had already checked out everywhere and believe it or not Dixons was cheaper for the Fridge Freezer we wanted than anywhere else by over £100.00!
We managed to get the cooker and hob from a Currys Clearance shop that we have here - combined they were £480.00 when the cheapest anywhere else was £499.00 for the cooker and £155.00 for the hob!
Just need a dishwasher now as the kitchen was designed to have one so they will be leaving a space for it - it's not a big problem to wait though - I've lived this long without one!0 -

Hi all and good evening couponers.;)
Just thought I'd share with you a decent coupon, which I don't think is limited to any amount, assuming you have different email addresses.
As it's bloody freezing at the moment, I was checking up the Quakers Oats coupon
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3840565
It is £1 off a pack. Now comparing Tesco and Asda, I bought two 1kg quaker oats which costs me £1.75 x 2 = £3.50 minus the £2 coupons = £1.50
HOWEVER
If you buy them as a pair, and don't put them through with the rest of your shopping, you'll get another 50p back on JTD, as they are on offer in Asda at £3.00 for two.
So a £1.00 will get you 2 kilos of this delicious 'stodge'Just add Raisins and some syrup etc. Delicious!
Please Sir can I have some more!
I've just tried this but didn't get the difference, either because my total was under £20 or because they included my coupons on other products as them being cheaper.
Also the self service till only allowed a max of three coupons so cs did the rest and let me use two of some coupons. She did ask if I'd actually bought those items (I had) but didn't check. The oats are the price of value oats but they're much e easier to store in a box :-DLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
