For Boys I have found it a lot harder - but we both like Zach, Orion and cant think of much else.
If DH had his way we would call a girl moon unit, or apple, river....I like his thinking for unusual names but I just cant have anything too unusual - poor child lol !
We found boys names a bit easier and had decided on Dexter Michael:):happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Morning ladies.
I Think I may be in labour, but I'm not sure!
Getting regular pains. 5 mins or so apart lasting around 30 seconds. Low down, below bump and starting in my back moving to the front. feel like I could do with emptying my bowels and sometimes bladder but nothing happening if I go to the loo. My bump is tight but has been on and off for the last day or so. None of these pains are in my bump as I was expecting. Am i in labour? Is this the start of things? Someone please tell me!! lol
I'm 40+2 today. Had midwife appointment on due date and found I had group b strep in my urine at 39 weeks so I was refused a sweep as they wanted me to get a weeks worth of antibiotics before going into labour. I don't think that's going to happen now but not worried as I know I have to have IV antibiotics during labour anyway. Was pretty distraught after the appointment, being told i will be hooked up to an IV and not able to use the birthing pool is a major blow to my non-medicalised, natural birth plans.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -

Oooh good luck sammy, hope this is it. On the bit about being disappointed about having to be hooked up, I know how poorly it can make a baby if they get strepB so just try to remember that as much as its not how you wanted it to be, it's soooo much better for the little one. You'll soon forget about it once he/she is here anyway no doubt!!
Congrats on last day at work Mozzy.
Lovecrafting, sorry to hear your news, hope they manage to keep the little one in there for as long as possible. fingers crossed for you.
We've decided on first and middle names for a boy and a girl but it wasn't easy!! We both really like Cameron for a boy but decided not to use it as DH is really in to politics and we knew everyone would think we'd named him after the PM if we had a boy!!
Just had my councelling for redundancy so when i leave for maternity in March I will be officially unemplyed for the first time in 17 years!!!! Scary but nice too!0 -
sammy - sounds promising would probably just give mw a call for guidance x0
