Redhead - Well got the email today to say it's been despatched and it should be here within 1 working day and the other stuff is coming within 3 working days. Turns out it was the whole pushchair seat, not just the pad but they've sourced it from "back stock" Wasn't giving a flying frig where it came from, as long as I got it :D

Cam Aw these pj's are great, they're proper fleecy and cosy, and a tenner a pair is a bargain, because I'll probably wear them after the birth too since it'l still be winter and easy access for boobs :o

Aaand my flabby lovely self, and bump :o

Mozzy lol. I wouldn't advise it if I was you.

    Everyone is different though.

There was only 4 hours in between my first contraction, being told it was false labour, being induced and holding DD in my arms last time :) would love that again but I reckon I won't be that lucky lol..

Gilly. Oh good, that's good news then. Xxx
    (PS. I love the PJ's :D)

Those are just the trousers btw, that tops an old scabby thing that clings so you can see my stomach :o

I bought a darker pair for after the birth :o thought they'd be needed.

Oh believe me I am. That picture hides a million sins (as I scoff twirl bites while waiting for my bagel to toast  )

Alsooo TMI alert but what the hell, my leakage has started to come out creamy now and not clear, so it's looking more like milk at least? :rotfl:

If anyones interested Mothercare have nursing bras, 2 for £15 online, usually £30 for the double pack. Loads of sizes left.

The pj's haha 2 pairs for £20, the top is like the "jacket" type, it buttons up the front.

  • Evening all, hope you are doing well?

So turns out I was definitely in labour on Sunday night, and our little girl Betsy made her appearance at 8:41 weighing 6lbs 6.5ozs :)

The birth couldn't have been any better, it was just how I wanted - in water, at home, no drugs, just a graze (no stitches)! Though I'd been having crampy twinges for a few days before, I'm counting labour as starting from when I had my show - so about 5 hours from then until she was born.

I'm feeling fine and we're getting used to life as a little family... Breastfeeding is harder than I thought, but the whole thing, including how wonderful OH has been is just so amazing I'm ok with the bf challenges. As WW said, taking it hour by hour seems to be the best way.

Anyway, I'll do a proper birth story soon and will try to pop back in when I've got a bit more time but I'd also like to say a huge thank you to everyone on here - it's been an absolute godsend to come on here and rant / moan / rave about things and you ladies have helped me in different ways more than you could imagine. Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancies and I hope you have happy and safe deliveries of your little bundles of joy :)

    Take care, BM :) x
  • Congratulations to you and your OH on Betsys birth. Your labour sounds ideal :)

    Hope you're both well. Xxxx
