Hi ladies, Sorry there are a few of you also not feeling so good:(.
Penultimate day working in the office today- was a fairly nice day, met one work pal for "coffee" and she gave me a card and a lovely bunch of flowers. Then met for lunch with my Matron of honour who works in the same building. And then later in the afternoon, a few of my team people inc my boss, came over and gave me a card signed by about 35 people from the wider team, and a few little tokens- two fabric books and a chunky easy picture book. Very sweet. More than i expected, and my boss gave quite a nice albeit tongue in cheek (about himself) speech. Did it today as a fair few of them aren't in tomorrow, which means tomorrow will be a bit odd.
I am supposed to still be working from home till the 23rd Dec, but cant help but thinking i've finished in the office just in time. I'm sure i'm wrong, but i just feel something is up- still feeling a bit sicky, still getting tummy pains, and since this morning, have had twingy back pain on and off, and keep feeling like i need to poo.... Will have to wait and see, at 36 days exactly, could be something, could be nothing!!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I'm sick of being hungry all the time. Wish my stomach would shut up. I'm not supposed to be consuming extra callories! How can you not with this racket going on lol.
Hi Rebekah! I was the same up until about 11 weeks. It got so bad. Had 3 weeks off work. The hunger was so bad I feel sick all the time.
I found toast helped, crackers and potato things. I did put on 8lb by week 12 but now Im almost at week 30 and have put n 1 stone 8lbs which I'm more than happy with. Ur body's working hard. Give it the food it wants!xx

Hi Ladies, do you mind if I join you here? I'm 14 weeks this week
Due date is 26th May.
Hi Rebekah, I remember you from the TTC thread, congratulations! It does get better I promise, I felt horrible until last week and now I can enjoy the smell of food and cooking again and have regained some energy. Just eat what you can. I found little and often helped so my blood sugar didn't get too low. I drank smoothies or milk as "easy access" to nutrients.
We got our first gift of new born clothes form the in laws last week, it seriously freaked me out how small they were!0 -

Wonder_Womble wrote: »I feel ill
and very sorry for myself. Went to bed at 9pm and fell asleep about 9.30. Woke up at 11.30 and I was sweating, my pillow and the bed were soaking with sweat. Had a bad head and felt like all my head was congested. I got up and had to rush to the loo with the skitters, and now feel really queasy. Baby won't stop moving either.
I could really do without being ill, I've got my pre op assessment tomorrow.
Has Lirin been on today? Hope she is ok.Lirin is okay, for whoever asked can't remember, she text me yesterday, still holding on in there
I feel good today, had a great nights sleep, and apart from being able to smell boiled eggs, everything is dandy at the moment. OH is being a pain in the bum, but I'm onto ignoring him. It's easier than causing an argument!
Still here! 39 weeks today. Thanks for the concern. haven't posted much as very very tired, and it's affecting my seeing eye a little- having trouble reading text.
Haven't been doing a lot- have been to Costa Coffee, and that is pretty much the highlight of my week! Apprehensive of leaving the house, though apart from tired and sore, I still have no bowling ball feelings or any 'imminent' signs.....
Hitch actually tried to push back up into my ribs yestarday when I woke- too cold, and seems to have the effect of a baby that may be unwilling to move....
Will warn you all though- sneezing and coughing hurts! I can't! I have to hold bump carefully, and look like Santa Claus laughing when I do....
WW, and whoever else complained about feeling awful- I feel fine one moment, then it veers into feeling rubbish, whether it's ot and shivery, or a headache or sore somewhere.... Told DH I feel like I have every variation of a cold, just a different one each day! The tiredness is getting me the most though.
DH is panicky a little- every time I moved last nightI could hear a sleep-infused 'Baby! Are you okay?' and a grab over my side to see if I was alright- a bit awkward when I'm trying to move carefully to stop my ruddy hips cracking! So got up at 0500, after giving DH a pillow to cuddle instead of me. He seemed happy with that in his sleep!
And the calls- I'm going to tell the next person who calls that i'm in labour. Why not? If I don't answer a text in five seconds, or pick the phone up on the first ring, everyone starts panicking!
DSD asked her dad was I going into hospital tomorrow, my original due date. Was sweet, she was disappointed when he told her probably not- she had thought the date the consultant gave was the actual date Hitch would arrive.....0 -
If all babies actually arrived on there due date it would really help wouldn't it
could be all organised and ready to go, no worrying, no annoying phone calls, would be magical.
