I really enjoy cooking, particularly baking, but not sure how much time I'll have for that in coming months.

Dvds are a great suggestion but we cannot physically cope with anymore, if I get a chance later I shall post a picture of the cabinets we have with Dvds in, mostly OH's I shall say, I'm planning on packaging them up into boxes and sending them to live in his parents loft, as we need the space for baby things

I'd love a massage too, they seem really expensive around here though, I understand it's because the people have to be specifically trained in which oils etc can be used but still :p

I suppose we could be doing with some nice fresh bed covers, we have some but only 1 set I really like, and I seem to have expensive taste when it comes to these  M&S always have beautiful ones, I think I'll have a look at them :)

I got some fantastic bed linen sets from TK Maxx/Homesense - Christy ones, that were £100+ in their own show for about £25-30 in the above mentioned shop. I would really have a look there - there are often bargains to be had.

I go for my acupuncture to a small clinic, and she charges me £34 per visit. She also does massages, so maybe instead of the well known places, it is worth having a look at something like this, complementary medicine? When I was yesterday, I had a massage on the bum/hip/leg, and then acupuncture. I think she uses simple olive oil, but I still love it....

Blimey it has been quiet today!!

Gilly - TGI's!!!!!!! there is not one near us would *kill* to go there or preferably home delivery :o:p

Hubby was working at home until lunch so he is doing some stuff round the house as he is getting that I am slightly panicked.

Panic purchase today was beanbag (got one for £15 from B&M) for me to loll over to try and help bean stay/get into position, couple of cellular blankets again cheap in B&M and a reduced triple phone set from Argos as we have been using an ordinary fixed phone upstairs and downstairs but need something more flexible for when bubs arrives. At the moment struggling to get up to answer numerous sales calls/automated messages is driving me nutts. So I will be hopefully having phones in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. I will also be able to have an answering machine again, use call screening:j:j to ignore people, carry the phone if I go in the garden etc Hope to god that the reception is ok as in the past we had one and it was not good hence we went back to ordinary phones. It has something called a room monitor on it whilst its not a baby monitor could still be useful....

Really would not worry, today I've had 2 weetabix, a bagel with jam, 2 shortbread fingers, one fox chocolate shortcake biscuit thing and a flake

If you can eat it, go for it. Especially with you been feeling rubbish the past few days, if it stays down and is consumable, it's all good.

Tell me about it. I have my breakfast (usual, but now I have added a toast with jam or a slice of cake) and around 10am I am starving. If I am at home, it is another toast (usually 2 or more...), if in the office, dried fruits, fresh fruits, etc. Lunch - starving again! I can have double portion for dinner (night before I had a huge plate of mashed potatoes with bacon and a glass of milk, as well as a plateful of chicken & casserole/stew).

I know I need to watch it, but as of this morning, I have put 1.3kg on since my BFP, so in 8 weeks. I think that is ok, as one of the books suggested I should have 5kg on by this time!!!!!!!

I bought 2 packs last week of the NY bakery type, they were on offer, so stuck them in the freezer, if I take them out just before I have my cereal they're normally defrosted and ready to toast by the time I've eaten and had a cuppa.

I fancy Chinese tonight (thanks to Lucy :p ) but I think I've been a greedy moo today.

WE only ahve the small freezer in the fridge freezer, and it is full. I used to have a stock of bagels in the freezer, but never bothered for them to defrost before toasting - our toaster has a button 'Frozen', so I used to leave it on a normal setting and just press it when I had my frozen ones in. Although, I think all it does is just increases the toasting time by a bit...

I just checked the stew, and as always, I make it too watery in the slow cooker. So, I have put it in the steamer mode to try and dry it up, and just coupldn't help picking at the lamb... We were watching Masterchef last night and they were making lamb, and I just wanted it sooooo mucccchhhhh. So, when there as a shoulder reduced in the shop this morning, I HAD to get it. OH doesn't know what he is coming home for - he was probably hoping to cook tonight (he made a soup yesterday while I was out, and although I would have loved it, he put chilli in the veg soup and it was too spicy for me....)

I'm feeling grumpy and sorry for myself. I've just come back from my psyhio appointment and she said that I have to go back on Tuesday to pick up my new crutches and that I have to cut down walking even more. I barely manage short hobbles now, no more trips to Starbucks for me, on the brighter side I only have a few more baby things to buy!
