Well, seen GP about my hip/bottom/back pain. He thinks I may have a bit of sciatica and it will settle in a few weeks. If not - come back and he will refer me for physio. I am quite sure it is not sciatica - I had that before, and it feels different. He suggested hot water bottle on sore bits, warm baths, and if it helps - paracetamol. If I am honest, I don't want to take any drugs for this...
I was feeling ok this morning when I went to GP, and he moved my legs, etc, and it wasn't much pain at all. However, now I am back, after a bit of driving, getting few bits from the shops, packing a parcel with gifts to send off to friends, putting dinner is slow cooker and loading dishwasher, it hurts even when sitting down! I'll wait a few weeks, and see what happens. Maybe I'll get my consultant appointment before Christmas, and if doesn't go away, I'll talk to him/her,Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Back from midwife, everything fine:T Baby is head down already. Had a student midwife check my urine and feel baby. No sign of my GTT/28 week bloods results tho. She said they could be on the other hospital system and she'd call me and send results thru the post.
Had chinese and it was yum. Still lots left tho:o:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

we're very quiet today ladies, is everyone too busy working?
or enjoying the calm before the storm?
My Dad's girlfriend wants to know what to get me and OH for Christmas, and it's proving tough, I'm not sure how much she'l spend, she normally spends a good amount on me, but now I live with OH he's included too, and she's bought us a playmat for baby which I know wasn't cheap as it's one of those all flashing, all moving models (it's uber cute though)
I was tempted just to ask for like Frankie & Bennies/TGI voucher, as then she could spend as little as she liked and we'd enjoy it, but then I don't know if that's rude? Please can we have a night out on you.
Normally I'd say pj's/slippers but not sure what size I'd need for the forseeable future, even after baby is born, may take me a while to lose the weight.
Asked OH what he'd like, he's so not used to getting presents so his reply was "nothing" always helpful. My dad is already planning on buying him a bottle of aftershave as it's all I could think of suggesting.
HELP.
EDIT: On another note, I have a vast and rather expensive shoe collection/habit, tried a few pairs on last night and they're all a bit tight  hoping my feet will go back down after the birth or I'll be heart broken and very out of pocket:rotfl:

I always struggle with the presents when my parents ask what to get us... we can't even ask for vouchers (they would be happy to give those) as they live abroad.
What about some DVD that OH would enjoy? I just got Pirates of Caribbean 4 on amazon for £8 for a friend... I couldn't believe how cheap it was (he wanted it). My OH was rather happy to get the box set of West Wing, he would love MASH, and some other war movies/TV series, but he is not getting any war stuff - I hate it, and if I gave him a box set, I would have to endure it couple of times, including all the commentaries and anything else you can find on the disks these days.
As for myself, I love cooking, so any serious baking tins/pots/pans are useful. I never dear to spend a decent amount and end up needing another pan in less than a year. Or, if you don't already have one, what about slow cooker or pressure cooker? They might come in useful once the little one is there to just shove it all in a pot and leave cooking for the day.
If not cooking, anything else in the house is missing/needs updating? I have got a lovely bowl from Eva Solo last year, and we keep nuts or sweets in it.
Or, what I would really love - is a massage.... Could she get you a voucher for mum-to-be massage?...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I really enjoy cooking, particularly baking, but not sure how much time I'll have for that in coming months.
Dvds are a great suggestion but we cannot physically cope with anymore, if I get a chance later I shall post a picture of the cabinets we have with Dvds in, mostly OH's I shall say, I'm planning on packaging them up into boxes and sending them to live in his parents loft, as we need the space for baby things
I'd love a massage too, they seem really expensive around here though, I understand it's because the people have to be specifically trained in which oils etc can be used but still
I suppose we could be doing with some nice fresh bed covers, we have some but only 1 set I really like, and I seem to have expensive taste when it comes to these  M&S always have beautiful ones, I think I'll have a look at themThe frontier is never somewhere else.
