Wow BM, I can't believe you're at 38 weeks! I remember you first posting when you found out you were pregnant, and saying you weren't sure whether to come home or not! How things change...

With regards to the oils, I'm not sure on quantities but you could get a base oil and make up some nice oil for your OH to massage you with maybe?

I know! We've come a long way (literally)!! This year has just been totally mad, and next year I expect will be even more so. All good though, we're both happy, so I guess we've made the right decisions so far!

Will the bed sheets get all oily? I guess I could just put a towel down eh? Pregnancy has turned me into a right div.

Yeah I'd lie on a towel, just to make sure the sheets didn't get too oily...

Had no phone call re my GTT test which I had on Monday,so assuming everything is ok. Will double check with MW tomorrow.

Why does ER have to be so sad! Just watched an episode set in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (probably not the best thing for me to be watching) so so sad :(

  • The twitchy feelings could be hiccups. Depending on bean's position they can be felt in various places; mine have been quite low down recently but then she is in position to come out so that makes sense. Depends if they're a bit rhythmic too, if they're random then probably something else, but if reasonably regular then could be hiccups.

Down to last 8/9 days here, getting the furniture put up that we bought at IKEA yesterday, feels nice to be getting a bit more sorted although living room is quite bomb site-esque at the moment!

  • I feel ill :( and very sorry for myself. Went to bed at 9pm and fell asleep about 9.30. Woke up at 11.30 and I was sweating, my pillow and the bed were soaking with sweat. Had a bad head and felt like all my head was congested. I got up and had to rush to the loo with the skitters, and now feel really queasy. Baby won't stop moving either.

I could really do without being ill, I've got my pre op assessment tomorrow.

Has Lirin been on today? Hope she is ok.

A couple of people at work have been off with a sickness bug so there's definitely something going around it would seem. It does appear to be a 24-hour thing though, so hopefully you won't be feeling sick for too long, WW. Look after yourself :)

Few people feeling poorly :( Someone said it can be a sign of labour starting in the next few days. I guess there are many old wives tales. I keep looking for signs but none yet. Also I'm told a puffy face is another sign? I did have a dream about my show last night so maybe that is going to happen today (i'm 39+4).

    Take care ladies :)
