  • This is a really random question and i do apologise in advance. I have had what I can only describe as a 'twitch' down below a few times the past day or so. Does anybody else get this? Or know what it is? I wandered if it was when my little man was just moving and it sent a funny movement if that makes me sense. God, I sound crazy!!!!

I frequently get a little twitchy feeling very low down- mine are beanies little hands moving, which gives the twitchy fluttery feeling. Had that for a couple of months. Don't know if that could be what you are feeling?

I had that a lot Rebekah, the period cramping definitely, for the first 8/9 weeks I'd say.

Could be something like your uterus stretching Rebekah, I had that sort of feeling as well... All normal :)

  • Hi girls - you lot are v chatty today and my brain power is on go-slow so though I've read back I'm not sure I can "reply"!

I got some clary sage, lavender and tea tree oil from Boots today and now I'm wondering what to do with them (other than a couple of drops in a bath)?

38 week check up was today - all's well, baby still in the same position, head not engaged. Next appointment in 2 weeks which is 2 days AFTER my due date!!

Birthing pool has arrived, we're quite impressed with it, just hope our floor will hold all the weight, otherwise our neighbours could be in for a nice surprise!

Last antenatal class tomorrow - eeek! Everything is almost "over" - scary to think it could happen any day now. I'm expecting to "feel" like it's imminent, I wonder if I really will or whether it will happen totally out of the blue?!

    Laters girlies, BM :) x

Wow BM, I can't believe you're at 38 weeks! I remember you first posting when you found out you were pregnant, and saying you weren't sure whether to come home or not! How things change...

With regards to the oils, I'm not sure on quantities but you could get a base oil and make up some nice oil for your OH to massage you with maybe?

  • I'm another not feeling right! Went back to sleep after school run, had a hot flush & could not stay awake. Then TERRIBLE stitch bottom left of tummy for about 1hr, could not move, stand, nothing! Thought my stomach was splitting! It came back again at school run so had to get OH to leave work & drive me there, I hobbled to get him and then it went 1/2hr later.

Tonight had really bad squits :(

Also lats 2 days had braxton hicks in 4hr continuous blocks, I hope things are getting ready to start in the next week, desperate to avoid Xmas!

(Congrats Princess! Been thinking of you all week!)
