Evening everyone...
Hope everyone's had a nice day...
Hi Pistachio! Welcome to the threadHope you're doing ok?
Only 18 working days left for me! Can't wait to finish work! I know I shouldn't but there's a few emails sitting in my inbox that I'm trying to ignore, in the hope that they will go away and I won't have to deal with them before I go... Not sure I can get away with that for another four weeks though...
Is anyone having/has anyone had a baby shower? OH asked me the other day if I wanted one. He wasn't sure if it was something he was supposed to organise it or a friend of mine, or something, bless himI told him that it wasn't something I *had* to have, and that if he wanted to organise something then that would be lovely. I also told him to ask one of my friends to see if she would help organise it. I don't want anything fancy, but still, an afternoon with my friends and tea and cake would be nice!
Oh and I got a tub of the white chocolate and raspberry hagan daaz today... That's so not going to last past this evening!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

Hi Guys
Congrats to all the recent new mummies. Sorry to hear that some of you are having some issues.
I'm 36 weeks tomorrow. I've brought my maternity leave forward a week as I'm so tired so my last day is next Thursday and our Xmas do is the Thursday after.
Tooth question. The back of one of my teeth has just come off, seeing as I'm drinking tons of milk I'm surprised that the bubs is still stealing my calcium. Would I need this capped and would this be free under the pregnancy care? Have my yearly checkup next week anyway but will see if he'll fit me in sooner.
Pooped now so will try to get some sleep and put my first xmas movies of the year on me thinks!!
Take care everyone

Hope everyone is doing ok, feeling a bit tired to ready back though recent posts. Finished work this week, got presents and we went out for lunch which was lovely and felt as though I will be missed. Pleased to have finished though as really feel like the baby is pushing down and hurts when I walk and got back ache (Kira000, I've taken to using a hot water bottle for it and think it's fine on your back).0

What the dentist told me was anything that's considered "cosmetic" at all, they won't do for free.
They will look at it though and consider all other options, so if anything can be done apart from capping, i.e removing and giving a false tooth or whatever else they'd suggest would be offered. If they believe capping is the best thing to do it then you can get it for free.
Hope that makes sensex

Babies don't take calcium from your teeth. Once teeth are formed calcium is not added or taken away, it's an old wives tale I'm afraid.
If your tooth broke it will be because there us decay , or because the tooth already has a large filling in it making the rest of the tooth brittle. The only thing pregnancy affects is your gums.
No one can tell without looking at you what treatment is needed it may be a simple filling , it may need more extensive treatment. However treatment will be covered by your maternity exemption.0 -
I remember someone wanting crib sheets the other day.
A company on ebay is selling them here. 2 sheets for £8.49 delivered.
There's other colours and sizes too. Look good
Bed for me in a minute, we're off to Mamas and Papas factory outlet tomorrow, see if it's any good.
Hope you all feel better soon.
And congratulations eyeliner xxxx0 -
Morning all.
Welcome Pistachio.
Rebekah, I was always hungry during the first 13-14 weeks but I'm a bit better now. i kept a stash of rich tea biscuits on hand as they are easy to eat if you're feeling a bit sick with the hunger and 1 or 2 of them were enough to take the edge off the hunger without me feeling like I was pigging out constantly!!
I'm tired after my trip to meadowhell last night, we didn't get home 'till 10pm and I was awake at 5am yesterday! Also, my back has gone hurty again, I think its complaining at having to walk around with me carrying bags!! I was meant to be xmas shopping and I did get a few bits but could have done with getting more! i did however get myself some trousers that I'll wear for work, they're H&M over the bump yoga pants sort of thing and they're REALLY long so finally I have something that I won't look a twit walking around in with them flapping about an inch above my ankles!! Any they're soooooo comfy! Also got a back of 2 t-shirts, they're breastfeeding ones so I'll wear them now and will have them for when baby is here if breastfeeding works out for us.
On to the exciting bits now! Someone on here, I think it was Gilly, bought the cutest giraffe vest and shorts set from H&M a while ago. i remember being gutted at the time as I loved it but I was only in the early weeks and wasn't confident enough to start buying anything so i thought I'd missed out........they had it in H&M last night! It's soooooo cute!
And....I'm pretty sure I have started to feel our little squirt kicking me! A couple of times over the last couple of days I felt a weird sensation but then last night when I was sat in the car I felt it 4 times, almost like someone was gently flicking me from the inside!0
