  • ok dave is back, with nappies, they said they will honour it because they said they would on the phone and in future could i use the £ ones instead, he informed them that if they wanted to give vouchers away no matter how many times we had been in he would use them, so he went back in and got another pack lol

Someone mentioning arnica earlier has reminded me - does anyone know if you can use it in tablet form to help swelling? That's what it's used for right? Am wondering if it's worth taking it before my c-section

i have just added up the true value of the nappies and wipes i currently have (using mainly offer prices as i would pay £2.59:eek: for a pack of wipes!) and they come to £361.22:T:rotfl::rotfl:

I think i have spend appox £35 in odd pence here and the odd £1 for the newborn packs

YOu can get teeny tiny pill-lets from the homeopathic remedy section of boots. They are good for reducing swelling, tissue shock and bruising. I've bought my mum some to take in advance of her mastectomy and reconstruction. Taking before a C sounds like a sensible plan, but maybe check with your doc/surgeon to make sure they dont know of any reason not to.

If you get the tiny homeopathic pill-lets don't forget DO NOT TOUCH THEM! Dispense them into the cap then pour them into your mouth. They lose something if you touch them.

Seriously - you insert EPO INTO you? I thought you took them orally :o Won't be trying that anyway.

Other than spending time on all fours (which is going to kill my knees even more) anything else I can do to move a back to back baby?

    C xx

What is the benefit of inserting evening primrose oil up there? And how did someone discover that benefit? I'm trying to be adult about this, but I can't stop laughing :D

I recall that i have read that EPO "up there" can help soften the tissue so it stretches more easily and is less likely to tear.

Now I get it. I'm going to be doing perineal massage with olive oil to help with that. Here's hoping it really does make a difference!
