I am the same, bigger & flappier!! I'd wear a liner there & pop to the toilet when your there.
If you just get the sides done, u cud leave liner in? Deffo don't get a Brazillian! :rotfl:I think I'll just get basic bikini + strip off the top for poss c-section.
Could borrow OH's head shaver to get it all down to a no 2/3! :rotfl:
Thanks - glad it's not just me
I'd feel a bit gross with a liner sticking out, even though I'm sure they've seen it all before.
OH's clippers are a good idea... Kind of hoping he'll treat me to a preggo spa voucher, god knows I've dropped enough hints.
Talking of OH, I phoned him an hours ago and had to leave a message for him and he's still not got back to me. Good job I was only after a cable and not calling to let him know I'd gone into labour eh?0 -
:rotfl: @ BM. I'm still trimming my lady bits, but jeeezus, it's bloody hard work when you can't see it except in the mirror. Hubby thinks it's hilarious (not that he's been watching, lol).TTC #3..........0

Lol, I've decided next time I get a text hours later saying 'did you try to ring me?' I shall reply, 'never mind, you missed it' and see what he says.Ok I do have work and home numbers for actual emergencies, but you'd think keeping his mobile handy in the evenings would be a given at this stage.

Hi Ladies,
Just had my weekly appointment with my Consultant and she has decided that my baby is better off out than staying in. My placenta isn't working very well, baby isn't gaining enough weight and she wants me to go in for a c-section on Friday 2nd December, I'll be 30 weeks then. Really not sure how to feel right now, think I'm in shock but I trust the Doctors and if baby isn't doing well inside then it probably is better that they are delivered and monitored. I have to go in every other day now for a doppler scan and growth scans and unless there is a dramatic improvement (which the Doctor thinks is highly unlikely) I'll be having this baby in just over 2 weeks time!!
Feeling scared and emotional, haven't even called my Mum yet because she will panic! The Doctor has reassured me that 30 weeks is an acceptable time to deliver the baby and she has seen many, many women who deliver at the same time who have perfectly healthy baby's.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

 Jannine! MASSIVE HUGS!!
The doctors know what they're doing though, and will do what's best for you and baby. You'l get to meet your little bundle of joy soon. Is it a mad dash to get organised now?The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Thanks Gillyx!
Just reading my own post back and I'm now pooing myself!! It just doesn't seem real, I don't feel ready yet! We are totally organised though with the practical side of things, everything we need for the first few months we have bought, the only thing I really need to do is get my hospital bag ready, it wasn't something I was going to start thinking about until after Xmas!
The plus side is getting to meet my baby and finding out the 'colour,' really can't wait for that moment, when I think about meeting my baby for the first time I cry, so god only knows what I'm going to be like at the time!!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

I think even at full term people are incredibly anxious, so it's understandable you will be more so. The good thing is if you're organised you can try and relax for the next few weeks, from what you've said there isn't much you can do now to change the situation, so worrying won't do much good (easier said than done though I know.)The frontier is never somewhere else. At least I can plan ahead now and sort things out, my hubby works away so at least he can make sure he will be here, I can get my 3 dogs looked after and sort all the practical things out. I'm not scared about the c-section, just about the baby being OK. At least they will have Doctors on hand in case of emergencies and I know my local hospital has a very good special baby care ward. I'm wondering if any other ladies have delivered at 30 weeks and how long their babies were in the hospital for, I'm going to assume at least a month, but probably even longer.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

^^^^^ what she said
I'm sure it's very scary and daunting but if it's better for your baby then it's the right thing to do! Just try and relax as much as you can and let other people help you, if possible, get the last few bits sorted.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Not that I've seen her on here recently, come to think of it, but hasn't lovecrafting had a few prem babies?:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
