Would have been mortifying if she had gone for the wobbly flabby bit below.

Glad I'm not the only one with a wobbly bit at the bottom :D Congrats on getting discharged :j
Wonder Womble - Metro Centre was hell yesterday and we were up there fairly earlyish as well, we got there about 11am and it was mobbed, car park was already really busy. Even went to Costco and that was heaving which was surprising for the time of day. If you have to go I would be there first thing for it opening. Im back on Monday and then that is me refusing to set foot in that place till Feb next year :rotfl:

Oh God!! I think I'll just do all my shopping online!

I've been out for a meal with some ex work friends tonight and I am stuffed. OH is out on a booze up with his work mates so I am home alone.

Not much to report from me other than joint 16th on the list after the boldies and 8 working days until Mat Leave :j
  • Eeeeh, down on the 2nd page - we're slacking!! Actually it's been quite quiet on here the past few days?

thats because i haven't been on here taking up the thread with my inane ramblings WW :)

well i cant sleep again, so thought i'd pop in whilst OH is snoozing.

Just read back and kira and janninew glad everything went well at your appointments :)

Well I'm 3rd after the boldies, had a bit of a panic moment the other night, constant braxton hicks with stabbing pains in my....foof... for about an hour, but they disappeared. Still get the odd pain here and there but no sign yet :( Not even a show, so we're still waiting.

When OH got home he had a card from his work mates and a £60 Mothercare voucher, so we spent that yesterday on a lovely changing bag and a santa suit for the baby, i'm sure its cruel to dress the baby up as father christmas at such a young age, but he's gonna look so cute :)

Shhhh about the gingerbread lattes, didnt get chance to get one yesterday, so will have to wait a while now :(

Will try and keep popping in to keep you updated. Not sure what to do with myself, not sure i will actually be able to sleep, could make the cheesecake for oour party tonight I suppose, mind you that means going down stairs, hmmm.....

    anyway, speak soon

Has anyone got any experience with being rhesus negative? don't really know what to expect and just found out.

I am too and Jen explained it well :) As for the jabs if you google it people go on and on about how painful it is etc etc but it really isn't. I don't do needles and stupidly googled and was really scared but it was nothing (felt a bit uncomfortable but wasn't painful). The second one bothered me even less as I wasn't scared at all. I didn't even have that sore muscle feeling the next day. I had both of mine in my arm.

I had mine in the top of my leg and the flab protected me from any pain!:rotfl:

I went out for dinner with my two best mates last night- the three of us between 28 and 36 weeks PG- So quite a set of bumps! The restaurant looked SOOO relieved when we left without one of us going into labour! Wierd to think that by the time we next all meet up, we probably wont have our bumps anymore.

Missy, lovely to hear from you. Glad you are having a nice time with your OH back. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that baby comes soon whilst he is back. How sweet of his work to send you a nice pressie and card.

  • Im going to be brave today and do something ive been putting off for ages. Im going to pack hospital bags, but first I need to wash all babys clothes and moses basket bedding.

is anyone using any different washing powder to what they use for themselves? i just use persil the blue powder box for whites and the purple box for coloured and have no idea what the difference is between bio and non bio lol.

I used some persil non bio and some comfort conditioner as that's the stuff I keep seeing recommended everywhere.
