I'm 9th from the top..... Well, should be joint 15th as my date's now the 8th Dec. That's still scary though!
I haven't yet reached the stage where I just want baby out, but it's getting close..... It's hard to fit in my car now, and sit behind a desk! Not comfortable to sit at a table and eat in the slightest, and it's becoming a real pain needing DH to help me everywhere. When I'm getting up at night to go to the bathroom, he sticks his hand out for me to grab to pull myself up- and doesn't even wake up anymore!
Anyone else notice shop assistants disappear mysteriously when you walk in?0 -
Lirin I was just looking at that, and realised how close you are.
Booking my antenatal classes today scared me as my last one is the 16th of January, makes me think how close that'l be then
ALSO ARGHHH! I'm 26 weeks and baby is estimated to weigh...... 2lbs 1oz   :eek:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
YAY Gilly! Am so please everything looks ok for you now
:j
I'm not too bad in the car at the moment, which is good as am *not* looking forward to having to let OH drive everywhere... Petrol consumption will go through the roof! I am starting to get uncomfortable sat at my desk though. Not helped by the fact that I have a tendancy to lean forward so I have to keep reminding myself to sit back.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Glad your scan went well Gilly! Don't worry about the estimated weight, I've heard they can be way out with figures. I'm hoping that's the case for me as I'm only 4 days behind you and my baby weighs about 760g! Some books tell me this is average as I'm only very small, others tell me this is very small and it should weigh more!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

well if it helps Jannine 2lb 1oz is 941g! Baby is supposed to weigh just over a pound at this stage. I've always thought I'm going to have a big baby though, he's measuring 2 and a half weeks ahead with size too.
Just hope it evens out a bit... or I'll be begging them to induce me.

So happy today, I can't stop crying, had my consultant appointment and everything in his little head in completely fine now, the fluid has reduced and baby is completely healthy and we don't have to go back. :j :j :j
On another note, shed loads of direct debits have came out and we've spent more money than we thought, so OH is in a bad mood now, not sure how to cheer him up.
Also booked my antenatal classes, 5 lots of 2 housr 15 mins "Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

That's the thing with averages, to work them out there has to be a wide range of weights and measurements taken! Someone has to be in the lower end, and other people will be in the higher end. So an 'average' figure can only tell you so much and there's no point getting hung up on whether you're 'average' or not!
At least that's what my friend's OH kept telling her when she was worrying herself sick over whether her pregnancy and various measurements, movements etc were 'normal' or not... She now has a perfectly healthy, gorgeous 7 week old little girl!
Plus don't forget that baby will go through periods of growth spurts and such like so may be ahead one week then 'average' a couple of weeks later, or even behind where it 'should' be, and then it will catch up...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Hi Ladies!
I did something stupid this morning and managed to fall down half of my stairs. I didn't land on my stomach, but I've really bruised my leg and managed to cut my head! I called the MW who said as long as I feel baby move I should be OK.
Just thought I would say - I fell down the stairs at around 7-8 weeks pregnant and that is when I dislodged my sacrioilliac joint. AT the time I never really hurt myself just a sore bum - so I forgot about it. It was only weeks later when i started getting the pain so might be worth a trip to a physio just to get checked over? It just worries me how easily things in hips/pelvis can go out of line without realising and would hate for someone else to go through the pain I did - even if it feels fine for a few weeks. ALSO dont want to worry you about it either - I think I was prone to being mis-alligned:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

Gilly, Glad everything's alright!
Jannine, sorry to hear you fell, it isn't stupid. I've almost fallen down our stairs a few times, think it's only having massive Size 9's that's kept me from actually falling...I'm clumsy normally, DH is amazed I haven't done anything badly wrong yet.
It isn't just sitting at a desk- I have to give sideways hugs now.....0 -
Every time I've been they've measured me ahead, and every time I go in they say "?? weeks today" and I have to say NO, I'm "blah blah"
I'm not bothered really, if he's big, I just don't want to go over due and have an 11lb babyI want more, don't want to be put off haha
