Sigh.... I'm not a coffee or tea fan anyway, PG or not PG, but i have an occassional desire for a Cafe Nero Mocha frappucino.... and all your talk of eggnog lattes etc has set my urge off, darn it! And the closest Nero to me is a good 35 minute drive. Arggg.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Starbucks is two minutes from my house.... Ta Gilly!
I don't feel great today, think DH has given me his cold (or I've given him).... Just so tired, and counting down until home and sleep time.....0 -
Gilly I had a growth scan at 29+2 and they estimated the weight at 3lb 2oz but when I looked that is average for that stage so I would think your estimate for weeks is fine
Do they give you a print out of information? The weight on mine was in the middle of the upper and lower limits for normal so saw that as average
I hope this helps0 -

I find im getting a lot of discharge - doent smell and colour is normal to what im used to - does anyone else find they are getting lots of it? Could it be that I have not been doing enough pelvic exercises or is it just a pregnancy thing? I have read you get more discharge but sometimes I just find it is quite a lot and need to always wear a pantyliner now. Not the nicest of questions - sorry
I'm the same, it's apparently normal but I find it very strange as before being PG I rarely got any.
My mum used to be a big coffee drinker but went off it completely when PG with both me and my brother. I don't drink coffee very often anyway but I'm drinking quite a bit of tea still. I have a couple of mugs of 'normal' tea per day at work as the water here makes decaff tea taste yuk (and normal sometimes too!) but I drink decaff the rest of the time.
I just caught sight of my ickle bump in the mirror and suddenly remember I have an actual real live baby growing in there....put a big grin on my face! got to be careful wandering out the toilet smiling so much though, the guy whose desk is right opposite the door will think I'm smiling at him and he's a bit of a slimy creep who thinks he's god's gift lol!0 -
Cloudberry pregnancy is really attractive I have extra discharge too but that's normal as long as it doesn't itch smell or look a funny colour according to my gp!
Also I sweat like a pig even when it's cold out I can't wear a coat or I get way to hot
It will all be more than worth all the discomfort and feeling like a minger when I get to see my baby boy !! Not long now can wait0 -
I'm taking a special trip to town for a Starbucks gingerbread latte tomorrow.
TMI warning
Cloudberry, I've been wearing panty liners from about 14/40 weeks, some days are a bit more 'juicy' (sorry i really cannot think of a better word) than others. If I know I'm going to have an extra busy day I use a normal pad rather than the liner. Luckily I don't need the toilet every 20 minutes, probably every 4 hours. I do seem to be extra hot in that area too, so that might have something to do with it.
I saw my psyhio for the first time yesterday for my PGP, and I was hoping for a massage followed by some exercises to do at home. I just got the exercises and a warning of "I don't want to alarm you, but unless you improve in the next two weeks, I will be giving you crutches next time I see you".
On the brighter side she said I'm probably having extra problems because I'm so double jointed, rather than the old tactic of the medical profession of blaming it on me being fat. To be fair during this pregnancy it has only been mentioned once, on my 20 week scan, which I had to go back for a redo because the baby was in the wrong position and the woman put on my notes it was because of my BMI!:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

Cloudberry, sometimes I get so much discharge I think I've wet myself :eek:So happy today, I can't stop crying, had my consultant appointment and everything in his little head in completely fine now, the fluid has reduced and baby is completely healthy and we don't have to go back. :j :j :j
I'm so pleased for you Gilly :j:j:jAnyone else notice shop assistants disappear mysteriously when you walk in?
I went into M&S the other weekend and couldn't find what I wanted. Trying to find a shop assistant was a nightmare, I would spot one across the shop but by the time I waddled over they would race off somewhere else. I felt like I was there for days looking for one, and when I finally caught one they didn't have what I wanted in stockI was shattered after several laps around Marksys!
Wife is at 36 weeks now... and baby is gonna be big (was estimated at 8lbers at 34 week scan)
Ouch! :eek:0 -
Would you all have decided to have a child if you'd been told all the nitty gritty details beforehand? ROFL....
When we married, and it was being joked about, my sisters told me all sweetness and light stories- how wonderful it felt, how they glowed, etc...
Now I'm actually pregnant, they revel in telling me gory details.0 -
All this talk, I've already had a starbucks today and we're trying to save cash, BAD GILLY!
That's good to know Tiny Tink, my friends estimate at 34 weeks was 4lbs, so made me worry slightly, but that's good. Yeah we got a print out of centiles for everything and it looks just above average, so that's good. Thank god, don't want to be growing a massive one. Would still like him to be a good weight though.
Really can't understand why he's showing 2 and a half weeks ahead all the time though, as they got my date bang on, with this one not being planned, I know exactly when he was conceived
Thanks Wonder Womble, it's such a relief, I burst into tears and the nurse assisting the consultant didn't know what to do, bless her. We've still got our appointment with the heart doctor to come up and the consultant gave us the choice, whether to go or not, but we've decided just to go, I'd like to hear the heart for a whileThe frontier is never somewhere else.
