Hi can anyone help re snowsuit sizing? I bought a newborn one at the baby show yesterday,only new born and 3-6 month sizes left,and it was such a good discount I had to get one LOL. How long would a newbron one last for? My son was 8 pounds 4 and a half when born so this one i'm guessing will be about the same. Is it worth getting another in the next size?

Well if it helps Lucy, my friends baby is 9lbs 7 now at 11 weeks and is just out of newborn stuff he's of average length, but quite small in size, i'e not a wee chub ( I love chubby babies too! )

newborn is generally up to 11lbs. samuel was born weighing 9lb 12oz and almost 3 weeks on he now weighs 10lb so i think he likes the breast feeding lol. some of his newborn vests and babygrows do not fit already so not sure if his newborn snow suit will fit once he has his clothes on as well in a few weeks when it gets cold.

i was expecting a smaller baby though as my other 2 were 6lb 4oz and 7lb 3oz eek

Urgh, been away for a week and OH has obviously been using my laptop, there's so many things installed and I have no idea what they are, I can't get Windows Media Player to work because something called DivX keeps appearing with my media?!?! I'm fine with him arsing about with his own computer, by why mines?!?! :mad: :mad: :mad:

I read that earlier Toniq, doubt it's coming here though, the health minister here wants to charge women for self choiced c sections, as they cost more than natural births apparently.

Hi everyone! Just popping on to say that Jacob Oliver was born on the 27th October as planned at 12.14pm and weighed a huge 10lb 5oz!!! I couldn't believe it when he weighed that much as he doesn't seem that big and has a tiny(ish) head! It explains why I had such severe SPD though. He's totally beautiful and I am completely smitten by my little man. C-section went well and we came home yesterday lunchtime so only 48 hours in hospital. He's not sleeping brilliantly at night but I really don't mind as it gives me chance to stare at my gorgeous baby while I feed him! Congrats to all the other arrivals xx
