Congrats mancbird :j
Lirin, you sound as though you had a pig of a day! Hope you are ok?
Janine, I really feel for you. You must be so worried. The comment you made about your OH crying in the shower brought tears to my eyesI don't really have anything to add as everyone else has already said, get plenty of rest and if hospital thought you or baby were at immediate risk they would have kept you in. They are very cautious with pregnant ladies, so lets hope they are just being a bit over cautious.
Missy, congrats on finishing your assignment and OH being back on the rig
I woke up at 1.30am with pain in my hip, tried to turn over in bed and had THE most horrible pain through my belly. It lasted for about 1 minute and honest to God, I was lying there thinking I was having a contraction, and that if this was labour then I will never cope  I went for a wee and the pain disappeared, went back to bed and the pain reappeared. So that is not very conducive to getting any more sleep tonightHope it is just a one off thing as bed time is enough of an ordeal already with the hip/back pain saga!

Can't sleep. Bricking it about tomorrow. Really not sure what to expect with regards to induction, and the midwives at the hospital, or even the hospital itself.
Having a nervy spaz. OH is fast asleep, Jammy sod.0 -
Morning Ladies.
Missy, Glad you got it finished in time, and heard from your OH!
Jen, Hope your mash sat ok with your heartburn!
Mamamoo. Hope you managed to get a bit of sleep. You will be fine, and having mummy cuddles v v soon!
Don't know if anyone else is up? I'm probably being a bit silly, but i'm debating whether to call the antenatal midwife or not. It kind of seemed yesterday evening that i was getting less movements from beanie. I used my phone app to do the 10 movements in an hour count, as they tell you, and although they seemed a bit less pronounced than usual, i got them in just under 5 mins, which is fine so put it out of my head as her just in a different position. Now i am worried all over again, as i usually get a fair bit of movement during the night at various points, and whilst i have had pokes and nudges, i don't think its as much as usual.
Am i just being daft? DH is busy all day, so if i call, and they say come in, there is noone around to come with me..Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Kira I would phone, just to put your mind at rest. I had a day where I didn't feel any movements from 9pm until 2pm the next afternoon and I was beside myself.0

Flumps movements have changed recently kira - try laying on your side, or get in bed and put your feet up on was wall/headboard or a warm bath.
I was told not to bother with 10 movements counting because she's small and laid funny and behind the placenta. Maybe beanies just moved?
Ring to be sure though, I'm just trying to calm you x0 -
kira, drink some ice water and im sure baby will move, if you're worried just phone and speak to the midwife they are really nice and will tell you to come in if you're worried. My baby doesnt move the same as it used to, I dont think its got any room, I get feet sticking out now, but I get a lot of whole body movements rather than kicks which felt weird at first but its fine.
Mamamoo, is it baby day for you? Oooooh good luck hun!
Well I've not long woken up but woke up about 7 times in the night, just with random dreams and having to turn over then go for a wee, do feel sorry for OH for when he gets back as I doubt he will get any sleep either. Sorry others aren't sleeping, it is rubbish being awake so often, unfortunately it doesn't seem to get any better the later on you go.
I've got the winter duvet on, I'm so cosy!! Going to spend the day doing things I haven't been a ble to for the last few days, like finish my knitting and watch the programmes I recorded, aahhhh lovely x0
