oooh eyeliner, I'm not jealous much.

Have really had enough of being pregnant now, have really achey legs when I hve done nothing, am out of breath and if i stand up for too long my heart starts beating faster, feel generally sick, keep getting period like cramps, Just wish something would happen now, regardless as to whether OH is here are not, am so so fed up today I could cry, oh and I still need to finish my stupid assignment!

I've been getting fed up with the cramps, and to make matters worse, when I moved position to something that stopped the cramps, JJ decided to use my hip as a resting/pushing place!

Maybe finishing the assignment will take your mind off all the crap parts...probably not tho...

Thanks jenjade, kira and mimi for the nursery advice. I've copied it to what now looks like a mammoth list and hubby has just arranged a look around a nursery at 3pm today to get us started. Exciting! :D

SVsandy - Huge congrats! Neve is absolutely stunning. Glad you are recovering now :)

jenjade - Glad your assignment is coming along.....

kandboys - Best of luck for a nice easy birth. Mummy cuddles are on their way ;)

eyeliner - Oh, nice to see things happening for you :)

Aimless - I don't get heartburn, but I get terrible indigestion, and it's always worse before I eat. I know they say little and often, but even if I ate an hour before, I get it. How often is often?! :rotfl: So far, I've been living with it, but going to try gaviscon now, as it really is a pain in the butt! Hope you can sort out your heartburn..... :)

Lisa, Sainsbury's here do hungry caterpillar :D

My squeak, now 14 months has a hungry caterpillar duvet set on her cotbed (£6.99 complete with duvet and pillow, argos glitch last year ;))

And she is passing down her whole collection of hungry caterpillar clothes including a coat, baby grows, a cardi, a hat and even a sleeping bag lol (OH really likes hungry caterpillar and unfortunately for his wallet has to drive past Sainsbury's to get home from work!) to her new baby sister to be :D

Oooh I'd better bet myself to sainsbugs too then! The one near work was extended recently and is quite big now so will hopefully have a good selection. I'll be sticking to team yellow so hungry caterpillar stuff is great as its nice and colourful whilst still being unisex.
  • Im on zantac and the heartburn tablets from the £1 shop (ranitadine 75mg), still the same stuff. I dont wait around waiting for an appointment with the GP anymore (can take up to 14 days) as soon as the MW tells me to get an appointment I go and buy the stuff instead.

Actually this time I didnt bother to wait around, Gaviscon only works so much but I found a great thing called Gastricote which seems to be working better but 1 tablet before bed stops me waking up with a mouthful of stomach contents.

I have been prescribed Ranitidine- i have really bad heartburn and acid reflux during pregnancy. Might be worth asking your gp or midwife about it-if things don't improve.

I asked last time I saw her if there was anything other than Gaviscon, she said no! I knew that wasn't the case, but what can you do? As I said before, she's got me down as the stressy type, and it puts me off telling her things. I don't care if it's 'too early' for things, I was still getting them! She wouldn't even give me the Gaviscon, I had to see the doc. Lol, do you think a few hours restless sleep against a pile of boxes has left me in a bad mood?! Gonna skip the iron today and see if it's better again?
  • Hi all,

I'm 26+3 weeks and a bit of a lurker and i have a quick question to ask. Is it normal for the baby to prefer a certain position? As I have two lumps in my bump (when i say lump, it's kinda harder then the surrounding area), one near the top of my bump in the middle and a slightly smaller lump to the right. This is where i feel most of the movement so kinda recon it must be arms and legs or something.
