Will tell you when your stores Christmas Shopping Event is, I think the majority are the 26th and 27th if that helps? It's generally only the larger stores too.
Free gift I'm not sure, if it's offer of the week you mean, they normally start on a Friday, but you need to pay for them, I don't think you get them freeThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Is everyone buying breastpumps before the baby comes?
I was going to but we just had our parentcraft class and were told if we intend to breastfeed we shouldnt buy any pumps or bottles or anything except breast pads. She said buying this stuff is akin to going on a diet but having the choccy biccies in the cupboard just incase.
Confused now.
Only 8 weeks to go and so far bump has a crib and a pram. I think i should probably start buying stuff soon, but no idea where to start or what is necessary.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
As far as I am aware, breast pumps come sealed in the box, so I can either re-sell as brand new or exchange for something elseThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

that's when you can get the extra points, so you'd maybe be as well buying the pump from NCT.
I'm going home and only 2 of the stores are having them, out of like 4 or 5 massive Boots, and here there is only 1 having it too
I'm sure if you ask Annabella, she could check which store closest to you is having it! They are doing the online thing for £12 worth of points on Weds and Thurs, but the threshold is £75 I think. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
i have added some more info to the supplements list that is provided. I love google!oh and anyone who wants to try raspberry tea i picked up a emmas diary freebie pack from argos today and it had 10 teabags in it. Might be worth picking one up however the contents do vary!
Thanks for the supplements info Jen. I got the teabags in a freebie pack, but I hate tea and have on intention of trying them. OH and I know lots of pg ladies at the mo so will pass mine on to one of them.
Jen are you still buying the huggies starter packs. I was in Boots yesterday and they still had them for £2.50, or at least the tag on the shelf said. I didn't buy any as I have 18 packs of nappies to trade up yet.0 -

.
We have bought our medela now, as DH wants to get involved with feeds, and i will be going back to work etc, so figured i will need to express at some point anyway to facilitate that. Also read that when you are tired in the evening, your milk can be a bit lacking, so worth being able to express extra in the mornings, so you have some spare stored if there isnt enough for baby at night.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

This is exactly the reason I would like a breast pump Kira, OH has been talking to a guy at work who has 4 kids and he told him that it would really help me if he was to do the last feed in the evening, 10/11 o clock time, that way I get to go to bed earlier and then get more sleep and sort the baby when it wakes in the night, and OH can sleep, and we both get decent sleep! Thanks very much to that blokeIt wont make me want to BF less if I have it in the house.

I was thinking I would wait to get anything like a breast pump until I see how I get on with BF. But its tempting with the boots points offer!:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy
