I remember years ago someone told me, that we all function better on 4 hourly sleep blocks, so if you can't get 8 hours, have 4, not 6 etc. If you over sleep 8, have 12, something to do with sleep cycles and falling back into a deep sleep at the end of 4.
So that sounds about right Kira! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Yaaay jenjade, im deciding whether i want any tea, might rustle up a pasta dish if im hungry in a bit.
We've got practically everything for the baby now, practically everything was from ebay I adore our nurseryits so pretty.
The only thing we havent got is little things like nail clippers, nappy rash cream and a travel changing mat, actually does anyone know where i can get a decent cheapish one from? just need one for the changing bag. Oooooh am so excited about this baby coming I can't tell you, Not long now, 3 weeks and 5 days to go, lol not that I'm counting!!
i believe that, as lately I have been only having 4 hours and I have felt fine on it, but the odd night that I hve more sleep I feel awful.
omg am watching the weirdest come dine with me on 4+1, a very strange mix of people!!

Thanks girls, I'm starving so hopefully it's somewhere good for dinner. It's so rainy and horrible outside though, I was looking forward to a night of packing my case and watching X Factor
Daytime naps are always the best, maybe TMI, but whenever I sleep during the day I always drool, but it never happens at night, so I'm convinced I must be so relaxed and enjoy my day time sleeps better, such a guilty pleasureThe frontier is never somewhere else. If i have a nap i struggle to sleep at night though.0 -
Ive had such bad sleep all week, with DH and having snotty noses, that i just cant seem to catch up on the missing sleep hours at night. I wouldnt normally have such a long afternoon nap, just because as you say Missy, it can stop me sleeping as well at night, but oooooooh it was good.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

thanks jenjade.
just been looking at reviews for the madela breast pump, bit concerned about the bad ones, mind you all of the different ones have some good some bad, i guess its just weighing it up.
Just bought my moses basket downstairs as that is where it is going to stay as wse have a crib upstairs, is very strange to see it there, and to think soon it iwll have a tiny baby in it, very scary thought!0 -
I'm just back from Boots. Didn't think I would get as much as I did, and forgot about the tenner worth of points for £50.... I spent £47.... Only realised as I walked out the door! Stupid- considering taking a look in my local Boots in the morning- a very very tiny one and seeing if they do the promotion- I'd return and rebuy everything with something to make up to £50... Or is that terribly cheeky?0
