i had an avent hand pump with dd1. i did like it but i found it made my arms ache so i bought a cheap electric one from toys are us and wasnt that keen on it but it did the job so want a different one this time. also i found the manual avent one pulled a bit on my boobs that were already sore.
I think i will bid up to £70 on the ebay one if i dont win it i will buy the swing.:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

In all honesty I wasnt bothered about a dog. I came in from work one day and went to pick DD up from mums, walked in and saw puppy food on the counter. Asked my mum WHY she had puppy food and she simply said "i picked up the wrong tins at morrisions" I chuckled, walked in her living room and there was DD with this ball of fluff lol My dad had brought him because me and DD are in the house on our own - I'm partly deaf and its not often i wear my hearing aid! and the dog lets me know if there is anyone around or if DD needs me. I do worry I've made him too soft - there was a lady raped recently in the woodlands near us and i refused to walk benji because i dont think he would actually do anything if I was being attacked but my mum assures me he will - I just dont see it lol
I wish I had bothered to train him to walk alongside the pram - he is only 3 so hoping he can still be trained with this one. He did used to run beside me when I went jogging off the lead but if he see's anyone or anything then he's off to investigate lol0 -

Jen,
Pls dont use the ebay auto bid- it will bump the price up soooo quickly if other people are bidding. Have a look at auctionsniper.com . Its dead easy, and if you are new you get some free goes. If you need to ask anything about it drop me a PM.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

oh what's auctionsnipper ? I am here and online this evening so will watch it and put a last minute bid on. the lady has a chair i want to its like a nursing chair from ikea. ikea sell them for £120 she has a second hand one for £33 bidding so i am watching that too
for those with leg/hip pain. the physio said to me that if mine really hurts lie on my back with my knees up legs folded. Get a toilet roll and place between my knees then squeeze my knees together should reduce the pain and help reline the bits that hurt:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

It is my godsend! Its a service that you use by entering your ebay name and password, and the item number, and the highest amount you are willing to pay. It then "holds" the amount until just before the auction closes (you can tell it how long- 5-10 secs is usual) and then it bids the lowest amount needed to win, upto your max bid.
Three advantages: 1) it doesnt bid the price up too soon, so the winning bid tends to need to be less. 2) You dont have to sit there waiting till the last minute to bid, and you dont risk getting distracted/internet going down and missing the chance and 3) It stops you gradually nudging up your max bid in auction frenzy!
You get some free goes when you are new (3 i think), and after that, it is a teeny fee of about 1% of the winning bid, if you win (nowt if you lose), but the amount you save by not auto bidding on ebay more than covers the fee!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

oh that sounds cool. the problem is the chair finishes in 2 hours and the pump in 2 hours 5 minutes. if i dont win the chair i wont pay so much for the pump as i would need to collect it:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

That made no sense as i misread you.
More sense would be, manually bid for the chair, and enter the snipe for the pump and then cancel it, or reduce it or add to it in the five mins once you know the result of the chair.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

My OH is going to Boots, to get our Medela Swing next week, when they're doing the £12 worth of points for every £50 spent, so should get £24 on my card for buying it
I might be wrong, as I haven't looked at the deal yet, but the Boots points events are normally £12 worth of points when you spend more than £50, so you'll only get £12 worth of points, regardless of whether you spend £50 or £100... Unless you do it in multiple transactions, i.e. £50 a time, but if you're buying a £100 breast pump then that wouldn't work, obviously... Like I said, I might be wrong, but that's normally how it works...
Edit: just looked on Boots.com and it does say 'for every £75 spent' (for every £50 in store) so looks like I'm wrong, which is cool! I can double check at work on Monday if people want me to...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
