hmmm just having my 3rd nose bleed of my life and have had all three in pregnancy, anyone else suffering with this, MW said it was normal, its just i havent heard anyone else suffering with it?

Me!! I kept getting them in first trimester when I had low blood pressure. I've recently been getting them because I've had the lurgy and blowing my nose every 3 seconds sets it off. MW says its perfectly normal.

A quick question as I cannot remember. I know that you are not suppose to use baby products on their skin for a few months ie bubble bath etc but I gather ok to use bum cream from birth.

We went to a parenting class on Sunday and current guidance is to not use products for the first 4 weeks. Nappy cream will be fine though as it is better to use it if baby has a sore bottom than let baby suffer.

We had our scan today to check my placenta, which has moved up and is well out of the way. Baby is 4lb 3ozs and has hair :D S/he was very active during the scan and was having brekkie judging by the way s/he was opening and closing it's mouth  My amniotic fluid levels are fine, so I don't need those aspirated, baby's stomach and kidneys looked fine, stomach is functioning as it should and femur length is normal, so all good news :j No more scans now though :o
  • Kitten pie I'm so sorry xx

Can you lovely ladies see my thread about nursery on this forum n let me know your thoughts pls xx Ty!

69 days till due date - 9 working days left (dont start mat till 5th Dec - have lots of holidays!)
  • Kitten pie, I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts.

I had my final growth scan today at 36+3 due to having Gestational diabetes. The doctors are very happy with how I've progressed and according to the scan the baby weighs 5lb 13oz. They told me they would see me again in 2 weeks for a sweep as they normally induce at 38 weeks. At that time I'll be 38+3. Hopefully the sweep will kick things off but if not they are going to give me a date for induction. So either way in 2 weeks time I'm going to find out when I'm having my baby! I'll apologise in advance if I end up queue jumping!

I can't sleep. I woke up at 12.30am and started thinking about Kitten_pie and I just feel so sad for her and OH. I think when you get this far along in your pregnancy you start getting complacent about things that can go wrong. I know in Kitten_pie's situation there were circumstances that are unique to having id twins, but still it is a stark reminder :(

Also I've got acid reflux. I think I ate my dinner too quickly last night as I was starving by the time it cooked. Does anyone else find that they aren't hungry one minute, then the next they are willing to eat their own arm? I'm like that a lot at the mo, and by the time my food is made I am like a human hoover, I just about inhale it. Plus baby is always very active when I am hungry??

Another thing I have found with being pg is everything seems to be on the floor or near the floor. If it is in my hand, within 30 seconds I will have dropped it, if it's on a supermarket shelf it will be the bottom one. I struggle to reach the floor, I'm getting to the point that when I drop things I am just going to leave them.
  • Woke up at 3 with shooting pains down my legs - grr

Kitten-pie - I'm not being nasty etc by only saying "I'm sorry" - I generally don't know what to say to you and know nothing I do say will make it better - I am thinking of you though xx

    Well I managed to sleep 9.30 -12.30am, then 4 - 5.30am :(

I feel like poo and I've got to go to work today :(

I was just looking at the supplement list and it says:

    Arnica Tablets
    3 days before: 2 30c tablets 3 times a day
Onset of Labour: 2 30c tablets every 2 hours (upto 6 doses)
After Labour (upto 5 days after): 2 30c tablets 3 times a day

Where it says 3 days before, does that mean 3 days before labour or 3 days before your due date? Because if it's 3 days before labour then I am not likely to know when that is, s I figure it must mean 3 days before due date?
