hmmm just having my 3rd nose bleed of my life and have had all three in pregnancy, anyone else suffering with this, MW said it was normal, its just i havent heard anyone else suffering with it?

Just look back at some of my posts :) - the mw had worried about me early on as I have near daily nosebleeds- had one this morning as well!
It's common in pregnancy according to my consultant, and more prevalant if you're low blood pressure, which I am.

I got prescribed Naseptum at one stage- a sticky goo you rub up your nose to help prevent the bleeds. Was terrible, smelt weird, and was hard not to constantly blow my nose so abandoned it after a couple of days.

    MOAN ALERT!!
Had a row with DH last night before bed, i tried to ask about how to get round the issue of his cacophonous snoring (due to lurgy) so that i could get a better nights sleep than i did on sofa the night before, and he ignored me when i tried to discuss it, so i ended up clearing off the spare room bed (lots of junk on there) by myself so i could sleep in there, whereby he told me off for being irresonsible and not asking him to do it. Grrrr. Tried to sleep, but couldnt get comfy due indigestion and strange spare room pillows and our little girl cat was crying for me from our room. So gave up after 2 hours and went back to our room, and the snoring. So another crappy night sleep.

Then had to be at work for 7.30 for an early 3 hour meeting. So even more tired. AND i'm now in pain, as i seem to have developed sciatica over night from the mild right butt cheek ache yesterday. Really painful there, and shooting pain down my right leg. Havent had sciatica since about 1998, when i had to use a walking stick to stand up and sit down and for any distance of walking as my right leg dragged behind me. Not a good development with another 8-11 weeks to go. Not sure what i can do about it, as paracetamol doesnt touch it, and the exercises i was given for it then, all involved lying flat on my back, with my knees tucked up under my chin rocking side to side- anyone see a snag with that with a bean onboard???

    Ok. moan over...

Kira, snoring drives me mental, no matter how quiet, and if I can hear it at all I can't sleep, and the longer I'm lying there listening to it, the more wound up I get. So now I just bawl his name and batter him until he stops, and continue and repeat until I fall asleep.

Why should I suffer when he's snoring away? Even if I don't and say to him in the morning I didn't sleep he'l always reply neither did he, regardless of the fact he was snoring all night long! So be like me and just get crazy :D

I flick DH's ear when he snores. I've never told him, but it works most of the time. I'd also carefully tilt his head back sometimes if it's deep to open his airway a little more.

Trust me, if he snores, i certainly do try to intervene, a good shove and shouting his name and asking him to shift onto his front as i get more and more wouund up. Problem is that he is so stuffed up atm (despite the nasal spray) that he snores in any position, so doesnt help much unless i just keep him awake. Which given he is borderline narcoleptic, isnt an option.

  • I had 2 vouchers for the huggies starter kits today so went to asda to get them, now I have 2x £2 nappy vouchers, 2x£1 wipes vouchers and printed off another huggies £2 voucher from the huggies site.

What is the best way to maximise these vouchers, can they be used on more starter kits?

I also read somewhere that UK stores were accepting the Euro vouchers too, is that just wishful thinking?
