I have used the johnsons breast pads and they seem to stay in place ok and absorbd leakage fine.
Used the tesco thick maternity pads the day i was in hossie, they were good for the money, and being so long dont think i had leakage, now reverted to some slimline long always pads.
defo use bigger pants i bought some plain black brief pants from 1 of the supermarkets for now and as they were cheap enough dont mind throwing them later on.
for hospital bag for baby i took 3 sleepsuits, 3 vests some scratch mitts, and socks. and left the blanket, hat cardi, jacket with car seat for dh to bring in when we were coming home.
hth some1 just done a long read back and seems to b some of the questions people are talking about.

Not a problem.... If you can't get it to work, PM me and I'll send you my email, I'll host them up for you.
  • Afternoon all!

Just checking in for news from Mancbird and Redwood....?

Another vote for Johnson's breast pads - my milk has come in with a vengence and they are keeping me lovely and dry :) Tescos had sold out yesterday though so I've got a pack of Tesco's own - will let you know the verdict on those in a couple of days!

Hope everyone is doing well? Finn is still fantastic, honestly can't stop looking at him!

Take care all - labour vibes to those who would like them :) xx

missymoo, I suffered with nosebleeds a lot in the first 5 months, never really found out the cause, again just told by midwife it was normal in pregnancy. I was given some combined sickness and anti histemine tablets which really helped. Think being sick all the time, as I was in early stages put a lot of pressure on my nose.

I haven't had any nosebleeds missy, but I have read that it can be a common thing...

    Edit: found this on babycentre
