    congratulations caroline!

Just laying in bed watching grand designs, its a bit uncomfy again though. Have just smothered myself in bio oil as people keep asking me if i have stretch marks, but as yet (touch wood) I dont but am rather scared of getting them, I dont want them, am covered in them all over my bum and thighs from growing to fast as a kid as it is, so really dont want any more. step mum commented that my bum has got bigger as well as my stomach, have had a look in the full length mirror and it definitely has, seems to have dropped as well!!!!!! Definitely need to get to the gym when this one is born :(

Really struggling to type keep coming up with the wrong words and having to correct them, I dont know whats wrong with me :(

SC - Little girl is gorgeous, congrats again!

Bella and Caroline - Congrats and I love the names, might add them to my possible list as its currently very sparse!

I had the mw today, they want me to go for a repeat thryoid function test next week and see the consultant. I had an overactive thryoid in the first trimester which they think was due to bad ms. It settled down and was normal when they checked it with my 28 week bloods so i dont know why they want to check it again.

I think they may be being overcautious as its just a midwife led unit, im hoping they dont make me transfer to Belfast as the facilities in Lisburn are really nice.

Apart from that baby was head down and has been wriggling like mad all day - very strange!!!

  • Congrats to all the new bubbas :) Lovely news :)

Anyone want to peruse my Amazon wish-list of baby stuff? I'm added bits every now and again more as a reminder of what we need to get (ie everything) after we move into our new place this coming weekend, so there's a couple of duplicates depending on final decisions. With only 9 weeks to go (eeek) this poor baby still only has 2 shortsleeved babygros (leaving pressies from colleagues in Sydney) and a pram/buggy..... I'm gagging to go have a spend-up on all the other odds and sods. What else am I missing girls?

Just compared to my baby list, this is what i have extra:-

    Bedding (moses basket/cot)
    Baby towel
    Breast pump
    Steriliser
    Changing bag
    Monitor
    Playmat
    Car Seat toy thing

I love buying bits and ticking them off my list, probably because I love shopping :D

  • Aaww Catt, she's beautiful. Huge congrats x

Well. I have had a very productive evening, sorted all my baby clothes into sizes, folded and put them into boxes.

Also got all the bottles, steriliser, dummies etc in another box.

And all the nappies, wipes, toiletries in another.

Everything is listed and the lists attached to the box.

Starting to scare myself now :rotfl:

Ended up with over 30 sleepsuits in 0-3months which is mad, including 2 spare packs of the Terry towelling ones. Another thing to add to the ebay pile. Still haven't listed the explory yet. Need to get my !!!! into gear on that front.

As for stretch marks, gave up on that one when I had DD. I have loads already and OH says they don't bother him at all, so I'm really not worried any more. Could have worse things after all :) x
