Well im offically a boldy, 40 w + 3days, got a mw check up today.
see whats said there today.
m/w Wont do a swep till +7days over in our area.
dh asking all the time any signs no pains yet. would defo let him no, not like i'm not going to say anything.
Congrats to those who have had there babies and are getting mummie cuddles.
Massive labour vibes to all in need.
HEllo and welcome to the newbies to the thread, it all moves so fast.
But while waiting this weekend have managed to get the small bedroom decorated over the weekend just needs the woodwork cleaning, and a new carpet fitting.
Then some new blinds ordering throughout for the house, and for the 1st time since we moved here over 8 years our house is complete inside.
Just need the backs outside repointing.
Have took a bump pic last night will try and upload it later when i gt back from playgroup with youngest dd.

Ahh back from Fruit and Veg shop and Butchers, it is so horrible outside, torrential rain. I am in for the day. Got some spicy steak for dinner, nom.

I dreamt I set OH on fire. On purpose to. Maybe the resentment of his 'dont give a flying fook' attitude is starting to bubble over.

If he's not recuperating, he's having meetings with the band, which always take place at costa everyday at 1pm. Reeeeaaaaaaaalllllllly important stuff, like gawping at anything with breasts.

I'm getting one definite kick a second at the moment. Hitch, please, please quiet down in there! Just a very small bit. Didn't realise there would be so much movement.....

DH has pretty much taken over most of the house cleaning/cooking whatever during the week- I'm shattered by the time I get home.... Will be nice to be off and relax a little! I couldn't be the only person out there looking forward (hopefully) to the small time between going on Maternity and giving birth?

I also have dreams like that, I wake up irrationally angry and full of hatred for OH (more than usual), I have to curb my anger when I feel like spitting in his coffee when it was just a dream.

Hormones have a lot to answer for.

Hiccups. Freaks me out no end.

oooh ive never had hiccups from the baby, do all babys in the tummy hiccup?

I think the first words out of my mouth when they laid our little girl on me was 'oh...we've got a baby...' :rotfl:

DH took a lovely pic of me just before I was wheeled to the ward looking absolutely bloody shell-shocked and staring into space even though baby was in my arms.

Trying to decide on a name today but WHAT a responsibility!!! We're also hoping for our first outing.... :eek:

I'll try & upload a photo but if it's too big I'll delete it quickly!

I can't wait to be on maternity! Am soo hoping Pip doesn't arrive early, I want my three weeks of feet up doing nothing! 58 working days (12 weeks) to go...

Ours did two or three times. Since she's been born she's had them loads, lol.
