feeling a bit sorry for myself today, spent the weekend at my dads, and my sister, step-sister and brother were all round for tea soon, and it would seem everyone has been gettting together and going out and having a great old time and making plans to see eachother, i just feel really left out, i know im pregnant, but it just makes me feel fat and old, when i shouldnt as my sister is older than me, 32, with 2 kids, but shes still out every weekend. Didnt help that they all came with their oHs and mine is away so i was the gooseberry, and my sister has a new boyfriend she kept slobering all over.

Just feel a bit crap generally not to mention so so uncomfortable, i just can not get comfy now. baby is so far under my ribs i could cry, sitting, and driving hurt especially, but even laying is hurting now, just dont know what to do with myself, i could cry :(

sorry for the self indulgence, just feel like absolute rubbish. :(

    Missymoo that's pants :(
Is your little wriggler breech by any chance?
Mine was, and it was agony. I found that by holding ice lollies etc at the top of my bump and a torch at the bottom for a while, and then getting on my hands and knees and rocking, eventually made him flip after about 3-5 days :)

Sorry to jump in ladies - I am awake missymoo :( I'm due on Saturday and had the most uncomfortable BHs last night. I really want to go back to bed but just know that I'll be tossing and turning for an hour.

Hope you manage to get some sleep...................

i think ive given up on sleep pinkpig! Wow not long to go for you, how exciting. I havent felt any of my BH's but i do get them as it came up on the hospitals monitor thing, very strange. Have decided im going to try the frozen peas and torch trick tomorrow, try and shift this baby round. I wish i didnt feel quite so sick.

Aw that sounds great Wonder Womble! So jealous, 3D/4D scans over here are notoriously expensive, going home in a few weeks may see about booking one for then, OH wouldn't get to see but if we got a dvd then he could watch that :)

Ours was £99 on Living Social (similar to Groupon).

Well I am chuffed to bits, I have managed a whle night in bed without getting up, not even for the toilet. I did wake up every hour having to turn over for my sore hips, but still I think that 7 hours in bed is an achievement :j:j:j

25 working days to go, and we've got a big team meeting with our boss this morning. I wonder if it is news about redundancies / restructure

WW - hope the meeting is not anything to worry about.
Mancbird - hope all is well with you.

All - specifically those who are so uncomfortable and had no sleep ((hugs)), hubby did not sleep either so he was very moody this morning, stupid thing is he can fall asleep if he snuggles up to me but then wakes as soon as i have to turn over/ get up to wee so its hopeless

ww - Good luck for your meeting. I'm jealous of your scan, i wanted one but couldn't quite justify the cost.

I'm off to the midwives today, i'll let you all know how it goes later.

Hope everyone has a good day xx

ww- Same as above. It's £240-£300 for a basic private scan here- I couldn't justify that! Good luck for it.

Emily- hope MW's goes well. :)

Getting out of a lowered car with bucket seats in the pouring rain- was a lovely painful way to start my day! On the plus side, means at the end of the day I can fall into the car..... Feel bruised everywhere underneath.... Still, it's the start of my four-day weeks, how fantastic!

    Ohhhhh...... 21 working days left!
