Watched X factor every week, seems odd that will have a baby here before it's over!
Had a bit of a blub last night, just feeling a bit sorry for myself really and stuff isn't getting done as fast as I would like, partially my fault as I am at home every day but then I can't do everything. Felt fine this morning though, did bits and pieces throughout the morning (listed some stuff for sale on FB pages/gumtree and some books to swap, washing, general tidying), OH on sofa watching bikes/F1 and buying some pressies for DS online, DS being generally good but getting bored so being a bit of a pain. Would have hoped that after my blub a bit more got done but doesn't seem to work like that! We eventually got a few bits cleared out of the nursery tonight (1 box worth) and a few other things moved around so I can finish painting during this week. Not bad, but still not moving quick enough for my liking. Still, got 9 weeks left yet I guess.
Going round to see potential childminder tomorrow, have got high hopes as she seems nice in all communication so far, and can see her house from my front garden so couldn't get more convenient, fingers crossed.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -

here is a link to a site that might give you ideas what to look for and questions to ask. I would ask if she has pets and what precautions she is taking to keep the baby safe with pets if she has them

15% off orders from Mothercare over 50 pounds = NASR at checkout. Someone's maybe posted it already?
Jen, sympathy for you, isn't nice, and nothing really helps....I've found rubbing whatever bit hurts helps more than heat at times (if I can reach....) DH has become very adept at massages. Work could be fun in the morning- it's so hard to walk up stairs! Stairs are easiest if I hold in between my legs as Ilift, no real pain then- obviously though I can't do that in public.....
DH hadn't realised until a trace was on me yestarday in hospital how much Hitchhiker is moving.... the trace was more ink than space! While it's very reassuring to have all the movement, I really would love it if Hitch would settle for a few minutes, my pelvis hurts enough without being danced on..... A few minutes would be nice!
All our Christmas presents are wrapped, DH wrapped them an hour ago, while I wrote labels. We visited a friend today, to see her 2 month old son- and we've been sent home with three cardboard boxes of neutral clothes!
Bed soon, will iron uniform first I think.... Getting hard to concentrate, shattered from today....
Mancbird, goodluck!0 -
Lirin you know far too many generous people
I don't think my OH realises just how much our baby moves either, because he can't "feel" it yet he thinks it can't be much, if only he knew. I honestly think pregnancy should be women carry the baby for the first 4.5 months then the men do the other 4.5 months. It's fairer, not sure who'd I'd bring this up with though

Blimey Lirin, you are so lucky! I have *no* friends that generous! All I've been lent so far (which I'm honestly not complaining about) is a bumbo seat and a baby carrier. The few friends I have who have had babies in the past year or two have already passed on most of their clothes and stuff, or they only have boys/girls stuff and no neutral. Although I know I'm lucky working for Boots right now, in our staff shop we get some good stuff turn up every now and again, you just have to be in there every day keeping your eye out for things! Plus the staff discount doesn't hurt
Hugs to those with aches and pains, it really does sound horrible!
Hope mirror got on ok today, and bella too!
Mamamoo, sorry your OH is being such a pig!
Mancbird I hope these aches are the start of things for you, it does sound like it could be going somewhere! Fingers crossed for you.
Sorry if I've missed anyone out, I've been at my parents all day so had to catch up on about five pages when I got home! :rotfl:
I am also going to look into where and when there are any NCT sales going on around here, I need to get in on the action!
Oh and Gilly, if there's any of that chocolate cake going spare, send it my way! My mum sent me home with a bag of Bramley apples from the garden this afternoon, now I just need to decide what to do with them! A job for tomorrow anyway!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
