I packed mine this week and I am 29 weeks. Midwife told me a month ago that I should have it ready, though with twins they are due earlier.

We are virtually cut off in this village if there is snow as it's rural roads and hills to get out of it

Sounds like where I lived last year but I was just over the border in Glos (top of Fish Hill!)

    Hope you've got supplies in!

leandygandy good luck! When are you actually due? Can't see you on the list.

    I was due 26/9.

Have been to the day unit for assessment, midwife confirmed it was my waters that went but as contractions are not regular it's just a matter of sitting tight.

If baby hasn't made an appearance of it's own accord by 730am tomorrow, then it's off to the delivery suite for a drip for us!

Hubby is beside himself with excitement, I think it may have only just dawned on him that in a matter of hours he will be able to hold his son/daughter!

Lol, you never know! DH & FIL have been there for about 15 years (DH on & off) but I only loved there from Nov last year until May this year (we moved into DH's Buy to Let to renovate it then gave up when I got pregnant). Fab part of the world when it's not snowing!

Gorgeous but totally cut off when snowing! Imagine getting up that big hill towards Fish Hill in ice and snow would be a nightmare! Nan died 11 years ago now and no more family living there but we do visit to take her some flowers. Got great pics of my boys paddling in the ford!

Hubby had to walk from the main road down into the village as he got stuck coming home from Scotland last year. He also spent a night in the hotel opp Foregate St station in Worcester as the Cotswold line wasn't running hence the taxi from Worcester dropping him at the top of the road! I had a chest infection but still walked halfway up that road to meet him - nearly killed me! :rotfl:
