Morning all, hope your all ok,

Congrats eebee and Crabapple, hope your getting lots of cuddle time in.

Nice weekend my end, had Lisa over for a visit - is so nice to have another mummy to be friend in the area.

Got lots more done in the nursery and am all unpacked now, just waiting for furniture in half term hols.

Mondays are becoming more and more unbearable, and to top it off this morning in the office they had the heating on 27 - I mean, I ask you is it really necessary to boil everyone else's heads?????

Yes, list is starting to look a bit scary from my point of view too I'm feeling pretty worn out today, could have done with starting mat leave earlier than my due date I think Not a very relaxing weekend, as DH spent most of it on the Wii or reading his Kindle, which meant that I had to do most of the housework. The only way I could get him to do anything was if I was doing something at the same time. He still manged to forget to clean the toilet when he offered to clean the bathroom, so I ended up doing that at 9.30 last night. Gah. Still, 13 and a half working days left....

I'm sorry guys, I never have anything interesting to add, only ever ask questions!! Here comes another...

I'm having my 28 week bloods taken on Friday but the midwife hasn't mentioned anything about doing a fast for it?? Will i need to fast?? Not even sure I'm having the GTT (i thought thats what the 28 weeks bloods were for?).

My appt is at 1.30pm, not sure if i will be able to cope without food for so long ( probably pass out before then). To fast or not to fast... that is the question!!

I will probably call midwife before Friday to double check...

No Goppers it will just be bloods I didn't get the GTT either and wasn't told to fast or anything before my bloods. So I'd assume you'd be the same as me. Also if you were getting the GTT your appointment would be first thing as they wouldn't want you fasting all that time.

Phew!! Thanks Gillyx, I was really getting worried about that but from what you say, it would be a really silly thing to make an appt for me at such a silly time if I had to fast.

I'm just gonna turn up, me, my (still tiny) bump and the weetabix in my belly
