delayed Lloyds PPI payout

Hi all,
My offer letter from Lloyds came on 31st August and the cheque finally arrived last week (20th October) - around 7 weeks later.
It took over 3 years via FOS so it's been a long haul - however, worth the wait as I got over £7200!
Good luck to all of you who are still waiting - I'd like to say I'm sure you'll get your cheques soon but having dealt with Lloyds I think it's unlikely!;)0 -
oh god looks like my idea of a good xmas has vanished out the window then as my letter is dated 12th October:rotfl:silly me to think they'd sort it within about 10 working days!!

Hi all,
Just been reading through all of your threads.
I accepted an offer from Lloyds TSB for nearly £3000, the letter was dated the 16 Sept. The interest was calculated up to 13 Oct.
On the 14 Oct I called them to ask why I hadn't been paid the money and that the interest was only calculated up to the 13 Oct.
The Chap I spoke to on the phone said there was a delay in payments being made and that I will receive my payment from 6 to 8 weeks from the date of my letter. He also said the interest will be recalculated up to the 13 Nov now and that if I don't receive the payment by the 13 Nov then the interest will be recalculated up to the 13 Dec and so on and so on.
It's now very nearly 7 weeks from the date of the letter. If the chap I spoke to was telling the truth then I should receive it by Fri 11 Nov.
I will post again when the cheque eventually arrives.
I don't think I can bear much more disappointment every day after checking through my post!!!!!!:(0 -
