delayed Lloyds PPI payout

  • Lloyds owe me £11500. I received their offer on 1st September but they did not give me adate for payout. I phoned on Friday but they were unable to give me a date. I find it quite appalling frankly that an institution as big as Lloyds cannot give a definite answer. Feel like I am being fobbed off. Was told to phone back in a few weeks time. RIDICULOUS!!!:mad:

    I rang lloyds last night asking when they was likely to settle payment not knowing anything about these big delays, My letter was dated 12th Oct and all they would tell me was at present they was dealing with letters dated first week in september and i wouldnt be waiting months only weeks :( mines being deposited into my account i dont see what the delay is??

    Has anyone actually had payment then?? and how long did it actually take in the end??
  • Wierd how there dealing with letters from September when my is dated August??? And ive not Recieved anything as its meant to be going straight into my account

    Had my offer in July Pompey, and am STILL waiting for payment, so what they are saying is absolute bo****ks, dont think Lloyds could tell anyone the truth if their lives depended on it!!!!!!:mad:
  • I have just phoned Lloyds who were very rude and very unhelpful. He lied out of his teeth saying they are just dealing with claims from the begining of Augusrt. It is 8 weeks tomorrow since we recieved our offer (31st Aug). So......they said nobody from Sept or Oct have recieved payments LIE!!! they cannot put a time scale on how long it will take...LIE!!! and they won't be adding any extra intrest the 31st August!!!
    I have now phoned the ombudsman and they have said it is apaulling the length of time we have waited and we actually had 1st contact from Lloys in June!!!!!!!!!!!
    They have now emailed Lloyds ref our deley and also telling them that they must add the extra intrest. They said we SHOULD recieve out payment within the next 14 days and if not I MUST phone them back.......I AM SO ANNOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad:

    You must have spoke to someone more helpful at the ombudsman office then me as when I called them this morning, I was told there was no timescale for banks to pay out as they inundated with claims, and I could either wait for bank to pay me or refer case to them, which would in effect tell Lloyds I rejected their offer and Ombudsman would then deal with Lloyds and there currently 9 months wait until they even LOOKED at my claim:exclamati

    I had 4 payments last week and was supposed to get 5, I phoned and queried what was going on and was told I hadn't had any payments.

    Sent an email to CEO and Andrea Barry and finally got a response today. They said my payment was missed due to a technical fault.

    I do wonder how many other payments have been affected by this so called technical fault.

    I have been given differing answers too. I was told that if I wanted my refund to go back into my current account, I would have to go back down to the bottom of the list. When I ask where am I currently on the list, I am told that they cannot tell me as they don't know.
