delayed Lloyds PPI payout
Comments

I will be contacting Lloyds first thing in the morning to ensure they pay direct to my account. Just because they have to pay out doesn't mean they deliberately omit explaining how long one should have to wait.

Let us know how you get on, they were no help when I rang and all they said was any day now, that was 3 weeks ago!0 -
Every person you speak to tell you something different. 1st person said paid out in 21 days, after 21 days was told 2week backlog, then 4 week backlog!0

Its been the same everytime I have spoken to someone, I've even been told via email that they aren't offering any timelines now because they don't know how long it will be taking.
I was told 6 week in total on Saturday over the phone but the fact my acceptance letter still hasn't even been scanned onto the system I can't see it.0 -
I was advised on friday that as they hadnt paid out in their 4 week time scale from date of letter (12th august) that they would now be adding 8% interest to the PPI refund0

I was told that there wouldn't be any additional interest paid as the interest is calculated up to date of payment, but with Lloyds on recent experience anything could be correct/incorrect!0 -

Hahaha in that case I should of been paid by Aug 31st as that's where mines calculated up to. I wish, still waiting.0 -
Well, after having my complaint since September 2010, they finally gave me an outcome of over £2,700 on 19th August 2011 - excellent, with the interest calculated to 2nd September!
I called to ask when I will be getting my money, I was told in 21 days, then 21 working days, then 28 working days, and it gets longer (I think you can see a pattern here).
When I last called, they said they were no longer taking calls and only providing callbacks (which they never fulfil!)
Having been sick to the back teeth of the constant stream of misinformation from Lloyds TSB, I have gone to the FOS (as yes, they will deal with complaints regarding unacceptable delays in handling your PPI complaint, and it includes the time taken to pay out!). With all due respect, if I went over my overdraft by £2,700 I would be hit with monstrous charges on a daily basis, so why on earth they are permitted to get away with it is beyond me! :mad:0 -

I would send an email to the CEO with details of misinformation you have been given as in the email replies I have had they claim that staff aren't misinforming with regard to payments.
I still can't believe how little information is provided to the telephony staff, I have worked as a telephony manager and we would always ensure that each day we would get processing dates so we could provide up to date information to the customers.0 -
I received my offer letter on 26th July and I am still waiting!! I have repeatedly tried calling them but had the same responses, first it was 21 days, then 21 working days then there was a backlog and they didnt know how long it was going to be etc! The worse part is I did it through the claims guys (very stupid of me I know) and so they are now ringing me twice a day demanding payment which I don't really want to have to give until I know for sure I will actually see this money!0

no dont give them any money if they want it that badly the claims company should be getting off their backsides and actually do some work to get their money, its not your fault one bit x0
