2 No 7 Mosturising Sun Sprays £11.50 each
2 No 7 Shimmering Sun Lotions £11.50 each
2 No 7 Shimmer and Smooth Lotions £8.50 each

    Used £5 voucher

Was charged £15.00 (was expecting to pay £6.50!)

Is it cos one of the 3 for 2's hasn't kicked in??
It may be because you chose two 8.50 items and so the till took off 5x 8.50 rather than 2x 8.50 and 3x 11.50. Not sure if my workings out are right though (maybe others can check this??) HTH.

If my maths is right only one 342 has gone through - the BOGOF would leave you with £31.50 to pay and a 342 at £11.50 leaves £20. Deducting the £5 voucher gives £15.00.
  • zztopgirl ... call Customer Services immediately!! It sounds like you had a completely horrible time :(

Who on earth did she think she was telling you you had to pay NOW and weren't allowed to keep shopping??!!

Did you get either of the SA'a names?? I'm sure it won't matter if not, just say how upset you were on the phone and by the looks of previous threads on here they'll take it really seriously.

Cheer up! ... and get revenge!

Went to Boots Oswestry, plenty of purple and lipstick sample bags. The perfume counter refused to take them, went to the normal counter, and the girl swiped it no problem, and commented on the bargain. Also treated mother to a lipstick bag, for £1.50, wasn't bad. There were a few bagpuss hot water bottles, so I took one and asked, and showed the xmas sticker, and they offerred it at 7.50, took it, but may take it back, unsure yet, love bagpuss though, so will most likely keep it.

Didn't realise there was a 250 point No7 voucher in the purple bag, so more points - drove family mad going through my bargains, vouchers and lists, just got to use all my haircare vouchers now, took the list of 99p things with me, but found none. Very very few xmas gifts there, got a few alcahol gift sets.

Till girls were scanning vouchers and not giving them, I asked, and she said she had none left (the other girl had 1 which she gave me), but they were scanning them through, so was confused, but decided to drop it.

Taking advantage of oswestry and shrewsbury before coming home to romford :p

There was some summer tan stuff, but staff were more interested in talking to each other, there was loads of higher priced botanics things there as well, but oh was moaning that I would never use it, so not to bother.

Been to Blackpool branch today. Overall got £198 worth of stuff for £33. They had loads of gift stuff still for 75% off - and Shaun the Sheep water bottle covers were £3.75 so I ended up buying 4 (2 were for someone else).

I split into £5 transactions which was a bit embarassing as it held the queue up as the SA was a bit slow. Got loads of £5/£3 vouchers, but only used a couple as couldn't face holding queue up any more - and hubby was getting embarassed too.

Tried to get the No7 bag with lipsticks on, and 2 glossy locks sprays, but they wouldn't go through as 3 for 2. So just left it...I've got 6 lots of £5/£3 vouchers left to spend now - hope that my chosen Boots has lots of No7 in lol. Might be brave and try the 6 for 1.

Thanks to bedshaped for the post about Umberto Giannini shine spray, I'll be looking for that on Monday.

I was once treated appallingly by a Clarins SA, and wrote to the store. The manager rang me to thank me for bothering, as they knew they had a problem, but the Clarins staff aren't employed by Boots.

I got an apology and a voucher from Boots, and an apology and a gift from Clarins.

    Thank you sammyhammy :p

That was the only way I could make sense of it.....the till receipts are a nightmare to understand aren't they? Oh well, can hardly go back and complain and make a fuss, can I, as I still saved loads. Just a bit annoying when it works 'properly' for others

Oh well, might have to go back tomorrow and resort to the old BOGOF/342 malarkey :D

Went to boots today returned some items and exchanged them 4 some things i needed.
Exchanged 1x no7 nail varnish, 1x hair product and 1x Botanics body butter.
Brought £11 somethings worth of stuff i needed including a £2.12 meal deal as i used the vouchers and Danielle Ryman Detox bath essence 75% off so 2.50, Bot Waffle mitt and free night cream.
SA said would put amount left on gift card 4 me but then did something wrong and gave me the cash instead.
2nd trip to a different store bought a bot gift set reduced to £2.24 and got free mens moisturiser rrp £8.75 and a bottle of So...Sinful edt reduced to £2.92 earned a no7/hair voucher (which i needed as had ran out and wanted one ready for offer on 31st)
Then went outside and saw another one just lying on the flkoor just near the door... had to pick it up. ( got a very strange look from a old man as i did it.)

Juliepink does it only work on those items, or on sunscreens as well? Do you know?
