Cannot wait to try out the 6 for 1 deal. My vouchers from ebay arrived today (got 6 of them), but will have to wait until Mon so I can go to a big boots in the city to buy all my No7 stuff. Will spend tomorrow writing out a list of what deals to get. YEY!

Did the BOGOF 342 NO.7 suncare &makeup +voucher deal TWICE yesterday....strolled into a different brand of boots where a jobsworth SA wouldnt let me have the 342, and point blank refused to scan it.....she wouldnt let me have my nailvarnish as well as 2 suncare items........... i told her about yesterday, and she insisted she couldnt do it.....:mad: :mad:

Do I complain or accept that it wasnt 3rd time lucky ???

PS- Whos been buying all the eye and lip screen and botanics bars in the Chester branch of Boots???? LOL!!

3 x Factor 8 Sun Protection Spray @ £11.50 each
3 x Factor 25 Sun Protection Spray @ £12.00 each

The bill came to £12, but the girl on the Clarins counter said the £5 voucher can't be used with offers. I did not bother to argue. I will just buy another pack of No7 wipes for a £1.

Actually, I must rotate my very large stock of No7 wipes, so that they don't go dry.

My grateful thanks to the various mse'rs who set me straight this morning.

I tried to get the 6for1 in nottingham this morning but i had quite a lot of stuff & the lovely sa was trying to be helpful and put everything i bought through in 2 lots so i could use the £5 voucher from the first lot on the second lot. i couldn't really tell her it would be cheaper if she put it all through at once...

i now have 3 haircare vouchers which i might never use though

It may be because you chose two 8.50 items and so the till took off 5x 8.50 rather than 2x 8.50 and 3x 11.50. Not sure if my workings out are right though (maybe others can check this??) HTH.

Bought 6 of the £7.50 suncare items and paid £2.50 with voucher.

Also discovered a free product with the Haircare voucher -
Umberto Giannini dazzling shine in the spotlight gloss mist - in a metallic green spray - about the size of a can of impulse/body spray. Usually £2.99.

First time of trying - no problem, second (different) SA argued that Umberto Giannini is not included so I give him my previous receipt to prove it does and he tries it...it works, so I said 'while I'm here can you put these through too please?'- handed him 3 more of the same plus vouchers.

Then he tried to put my 6 x No7 items through separately so I had to say i wanted them all in one transaction. 'OK' he says looking at the 3/4 £5 vouchers in my hand. £2.50 to pay and he gave me another voucher Who am I to argue

Also showed/ told a nice woman and her daughter what to buy for the 6for1 / 3for 2 offers - they looked lost, gazing at the shelves looking very puzzled with vouchers in their hands - I couldnt help myself

I must be really stupid but what is the 6 for 1? How does it work, I thought I was clever buying 1 glossy locks and 1 eye shimmer, using my voucher and paying 50p! please, please explain!

I am now banning myself from going to Boots until after 2nd February. Popped back to Romford this afternoon to get my argos catalogues which I forgot this morning and ended up coming home with yet another bag of No7 and Botanics products!

Asked a sa about the bogof suncare and she said it had ended this morning and was really rude to me about it, i felt about 1 inch tall. She demanded i pay for the item i wanted a pricecheck on there and then but had to tell her twice i wanted to do further shopping, she demanded (didnt ask) i bring over what else i wanted to buy immediately so i could pay for it then, i had to repeat myself and say i had further shopping to do.:mad: Am still upset about it and it was about 2 hours ago.

I went to the suncare section and found the No.7 sel saying its bogof but theres hardly anything there. I got 2 lip shimmers as my bogof and the £6 self tan kit as the 3rd item.

I caught a woman who asked a Clarins sa for a pricecheck on the No.7 secret trimmer, the sa told her it was £11.99:eek: but then chucked it back at the poor woman and walked off with her nose in the air, so i grabbed the woman, told her it was half price and if she had a voucher, to use that too as she would only pay 99p. Ive made somebodys day!

When i finally paid for my haul, the sa gave me another voucher but didnt scan it.

So my questions are....

Will i be able to go back into Boots and claim the sa didnt give me a voucher?

Do i complain about the way the first sa treated me and told me the bogof offer had ended? And about the rude Clarins assistant who was trying to rip off nice lady who just wanted to buy the secret trimmer?

I had managed to get my dh to go for a coffee with a friend so i could shop in peace, and ended up feeling even worse than before, maybe i should have a badge that says im a full time carer, please be nice to me!
