Thank you for this BB :A My thoughts are with them too. A friend's relative was one of the lucky ones who got out. I also know a few of the rescuers

Was up early to make sure DS got off to school on time, so have sorted DW & also put a load of washing on although I'm not sure it will be going on the line as it is a bit grey & damp here this morning.
Later I hae to go into Canterbury for a physio review so will try & pop into town as well as I need several birthday cards & some stuffing for my knitted snowmen.
Dinner tonight is st Delias meatball goulash which I shall pop in the SC before we go out.
First tho' a coffee & a quick browse whilst DD occupies the bathroom.
Hugs, spoons & hi5's all round.

Bethebee I hope that DD is feeling better (((Hugs))) have they found out anything yet?
Positive vibes for the miners and their families, here's hoping that it has a happy outcome, the other doesn't bear thinking about.
A certain MP got up my nose on the news this morning spouting the usual carp - It would be ok if he had actually done a hard graft job and knew what it is to work for a pittance before he was an MP
Rant over
The plan for today is to have a pre- christmas declutter and list what I have already and then make a list for what I need to get.

I have to take DS to the dentist again today. He was awake all night with a tooth ache. Other than that not much on today. Might call in for a cuppa with Mooloo as she is still under the weather.
Washing whirring and hopefully will dry outside again:T:T:T
I will be back later to see what has been occurringI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Good morning all, hope we are well?
Job list for today goes as follows :
Finish loading the CDs onto iTunes, ironing, clean bathroom, clean kitchen, clean glass surfaces in living room. Sit.
Not necessarily in that order...
I have 10 days until my due date and have found the last few days particularly hard, so if I can get even half of my jobs done I will be happy. I have achieved the first item on my list (shower and get dressed) which I didn't even get done yesterday, terrible I know!
I will most definitely be doing some sitting at some point today, need to rest up as tomorrow we are attending a wedding, and I am off to a baby shower on Sunday so have a really busy weekend ahead - very much looking forward to both occasions though.
I am also waiting for a few parcels to be delivered as I think I have managed to get the bulk of my Christmas shopping done online - check out me and my bad self, I've never been so organised!

Morning all,
I have to go to Argoose today, DGD1 needs a small fridge to take to Uni to keep in her room. There's a large fridge in the shared kitchen but as every student knows, nothing is safe to leave in there. I'll pop into Aldeeee and get some veg. Someone posted on here all the offers they have so I'll stock up. I'm having DGD2 this afrernoon so we'lll be in the park and taking a walk as it's dry here. I spent ages in the garden y/day weeding it was quite hot, DH and I sat outside when he got home and shared a beer, lovely. I'm still picking grapes off the vines I have, they are so sweet.
Dinner will be some pork in teryaki sauce, chick chew mein, noodels and egg fried rice. We love chinese. I'll make enough to take to DD2 & DH2B when I take DGD home. DH scoffed most of the cheese scones I made y/day while waiting for dinner. I've packed his lunch and he's just left to go to DD1, she's on the mend but is not starting back to work until Mon.
Possitive vibes for CHLOE
JANNYG good luck on the job hunting.
NMLC, Sounds like you're gonna have a fun time.
JILIEG, hope your DS is not too upset, sounds like your ex gave in and hasn't insisted he goes to the buriel. Hope all goes well.
Thinking of the Miners and families, so sad that one has been killed.0 -
leandygandy - you are entitled to not get up and dressed yesterday, when I was VERY sick at the start (first 20 weeks!) I did that all the time. Once the baby comes you'll be up but never dressed, when people visit get them to do the washing up for you
Beth - I told him the DS9 wasn't sure himself if he wanted to go to the Buriel, so he finally agreed to not make him go. I will be in the carpark during the service to ensure it happens the way I want it to, because otherwise you just never know!
Do they know what happened yet with your DD?We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Morning everyone.
Rubbish nights sleep. Again. I forsee my future stretching out ahead of me and it's filled with kids and cats interupting my much needed beauty sleep
Anyway now I've got my grump out of the way I am sending lots of positive vibes for the Swansea miners. One has been found deadHope they can rescue the rest safely.
Working through a list of jobs today, been feeling unproductive last few days so need to push myself today.
Not sure what's for tea, H is working a bit late tonight so will probably be a makeshift.
DD doing well at nursery, DS doesn't want to go to school. He's not eating all his lunch either, think he's feeling the loss of outside play, eating the bare minimum (not even drinking his juice) so he can go out and play. Have mentioned it to his teacher so will have to see how it goes. His teacher told me he keeps putting his hands over his eyes and when asked why it's because he says he can see what's happening at home. I didn't twig until I got home that he's got it from Toy Story 3 and Mrs Potato Head covers her one eye in order to see out of her lost eye at home :rotfl:
JackieO - good luck for Chloe, if they do the "Bleep" test I've heard it's a killer
lowesy - Happy birthday, hope you have a lovely day xx
Welcome to the newbies, hope you can stick around.
Sorry got to dash now, hugs and spoons all round.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
