    I love my kindle and have already downloaded some of the books you have all recommended
    something i do when i go on amazon is type in what i am interested in on the kindle bit, then get all the books sorted by price from cheapest and see what i can get for the least price or free

    Yes, I was careful to say that prices can and do change in the first post.

    I've been adding things as I found them, so if anybody hasn't looked at the first post for a few days they might find new books to look at.

    Just saw this thread - thanks Squeaky.

    Just had quick glance at one title and thought "Amazon Whispernet" - errr....wassat? and they mentioned on it about "wireless".

    Are those of us who dont have either Kindles or wireless network for our computers (just loads of the wires everywhere "older" (healthier!) set-up) able to download these?

    Bearing in mind that I'm pretty darn useless with owt computer-related....:rotfl:

    Yep. See the first post - there's a big link where you can download kindle software for your PC.

    Once unpacked you can use the Amazon kindle store (or any of the direct links) to grab any books you like. You don't need anything else.

    Ah right - ie that long blue phrase at starters and then click on the "PC" thing and proceed from there.
