  • Hi Yellow,
My DD turned 3 in September and the house is packed full of toys. This year she has asked for a Hello Kitty cushion, a butterfly, a pink hobby horse and a lady bird ha ha.

I way over spent the last few years so this year I have tried to keep the amount spent on her down, I think the main thing is getting all pressies within budget, which I have managed so far. I am terrible for seeing something though and thinking I have to buy it for her...will have to fight the urge this year.

blackpool was fantastic! the hangover wasnt!! Think I was a bit green all the way home on the bus! was even more enjoyable since I came home with money, and it was the money I made at the car booty - result!

Looks like Livvy is joining us on fighting the urges to buy our little darlings more!!

I agree though yellow that they probably are spoilt!

good luck with your complaint letter, hope that gets sorted out soon x

Livvyloo, sounds as though your DD loves animals, my DD really wants to Start horse riding, I always horse rode as a youngster but I'm thinking she is a tad too young at the mo. Plus could not justify the expense since she is doing ballet and swimming lessons and OH has signed her up for gymnastics next yr, god we sound like right old pushy parents!! Ha ha. When she starts the gymnastics she will stop ballet, she loves going but I think she just likes seeing other children rather than the activity itself.

Vvvv. Spendy day yesterday, was returning the shoes and felt my tyre go pop, I'd drove over a big spike. had to go to the nearest tyre place and get it sorted. 80.00!!!! Ggrrr
So didn't have time to buy any lunch for work, by the time I got home I had the shakes I was that hungry so got straight into bed put I'm a celebrity on and ordered a dominos pizza. And do u know what, I really enjoyed it! So no regrets! Won't be doing it again anytime soon though! Ha ha.

Can't wait to send the complaint letter lianne, I know the debts been dramatically reduced but it's not my debt, I'm still hopping mad over the whole thing.

Working today so no spends there thank god

Internet sorted now so back to posting everyday!
Not going to do a December siggy update as the spending has gone slightly haywire! Been using the cap1 cc rather than the debit card, I've bought Xmas things almost everyday and can't keep up with all the 'money outs' on my statement ggrrrr will be glad when it's over.
Still got OH to buy for but DD all done and I need an outfit for Xmas day.
Due some money by the end of jan so going to use that and what's left on debit card to clear cc.
Car needs mot and tax as well!!
    Things to buy this month
    Outfit for Xmas day
    Present for OH
    Baileys for nan
    Biscuits for other nan
    Present for godson
    Money for nephew x2
    Present for mum
    Car mot
    Car tax

    Getting their slowly x x

Ooh forgot to add, although it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things I have for the first time in my life come out if the poor or v.poor category on my credit score and am now in the 'fair' section!! Wahoo hopefully in about 6 months time I shall be in the 'good' section.
Would love to be able to get a decent cc instead of a sub prime one so even if I did have an emergency and had to use it I wouldn't get ripped off by the interest rate!!

    Morning all,
Just about to jump up out of bed. today's plans are... to have a NSD, clear out another cupboard in the house, make a meal from scratch and visit mum.
Was hoping to start a new hobby this year or ressurect an old one but have decided against it. If I want finances to improve I really do need to stop wasting money. Hopefully next yr I'll be in a better position.
Got a few days off work so perfect for sorting out the house as I tend to feel like my head is clearer and a lot more positive when the house is spic and span.

    Have a nice day x
