Talk Talk & the £60 Tesco gift card promotion - did anyone else take this out?

I took out Talk Talk landline and broadband on 29/08/11 as MSE (and I think even Martin's weekly email) recommended it, and the promotion for a £60 Tesco gift card if you switch through uswitch.
Did any one else sign up around then as I remember being told someone would email about the gift card but I haven't heard anything and wondering a) who the email should come from b) when the email should arrive, as I have a fear I've deleted the email or something!
Anyone who took out the same deal or has any advice or info, I'd love to hear about it.

    Hi,

    I've just checked on this for you - the voucher comes from a third party (so not from uswitch or TalkTalk) and takes up to 60 days (from the date you got your sale email) to arrive.

    If you want to chase it up, or you didn't get a sale email, there's an enquiry form here.

    I took out the same deal on the 6/10/2011 but have not received my voucher. I have tried the email address mentioned but it came back My email address unknown. I couldn't get through on the website when ordering TalkTalk but it gave a number to ring at U Switch which is where I ordered the broadband and they assured me I would still get the Tesco voucher.
  • I signed up in August 2011 and have been trying to obtain the £60 Tesco card since then. I had problem with the enquiry form so I have been emailing [EMAIL="enquiries@collectoffers.com"]enquiries@collectoffers.com[/EMAIL] but no luck so far. Any ideas?

    I am also having problems because of the enquiry form.
    When I ordered TalkTalk essentials through Uswitch in October it sounded a great deal with the £60 Tesco voucher included and many more MSE readers must have thought so as I couldn't get through to order it on the website it just gave a phone number to ring instead, which I did and ordered over the phone, however I was assured I'd still get the voucher, which I haven't and can't put the form in to claim it as they don't have my email address on their records. I have repeatedly rang Uswitch to explain the problem and they say they will sort it out,but they never do.
    I will be reluctant to use MSE and Uswitch for anymore special deals unless it get's sorted.
    I will keep on ringing them.
    I hope others have more luck.

    I signed up in dec11 and got my voucher about 3/4 weeks ago.

    ...sorry to jump on this thread - but does anyone know that if then cancel my contract with talktalk now (obviously will pay termination charge) will I have to repay the voucher?
  • I signed up to Uswitch in September and Talk Talk the same day and have not received the voucher either. I have contacted Uswitch Customer Services loads of times via email. I just keep getting either no reply or a reply saying it will arrive the following week or next few days and that they can confirm I am eligible but it never arrives!! I went to the Uswitch website and have followed their complaints procedure but still no luck. The next step in their procedure is to contact the financial ombudsman.
    I would also recommend you call TalkTalk about your contract length as they don't print it on your member page and I signed up for 12 months (I had the printed letter in front of me) but whenever I called they kept trying to tell me it was 18 months!! After numerous calls/emails they admitted there had been a 'problem!' with their software which meant they had signed me to 18 months but would put some 'notes!' on my file with the correct 12 month information!

    just now filled the enquiry form out on uswitch.
    but expect as with my dealings with talktalk this will not be easy.
  • I also signed up to this offer in December and still haven't got my voucher despite emailing via the webform. To be perfectly honest, I feel I have been completely ripped off due to the link to the offer provided in the Money Saving Expert Newsletter and I regret changing to Talk Talk. They messed up my order and put me on the wrong package - they took £114 for the value line rental but then didn't apply this to my bill and put me on a higher tariff! After posting on their online forum and calling their cust services who told me they're refunding me, I still haven't got my money back, AND I don't even have the Tesco voucher to show for it!!!:mad::mad:
  • I took this out in Nov too after the MSE email.. haven't received any vouchers so far. Did anyone get any email confirming you would get these vouchers though? I followed it through the MSE link to Uswitch to TalkTalk. My TT service is fine.. no complaints there, but no sign of any voucher and I never got any email from Uswitch to say they'd send one either :(

    had to send several emails to uswitch.
    had no luck with messages sent via the enquiry form mentioned earlier in this thread.
    had to mail uswitch complaints from the main web site.
    so got mine after nearly 7 months.
