Should gay marrige be allowed?

.......is a social construction. An excuse to tax and cut support for the low wage earners. So is marraige fair to every one?!
I was married to a bloke many years ago....his stance was a piece of paper won't change anything. As soon as we were married he acted like he owned me and was a nasty piece of work. Oh and have been happily in a civil partnership for a few years. (the being gay was not a result of the horrible ex-hubbie either!!)

Hence why they call it a Civil Partnership.
My sister got married in a ceremony with no religious element. So it would be perfectly reasonable for a gay couple to do the same.
In fact, there's no reason at all why a gay couple couldn't get married and have a religious element to their ceremony. I can't see why there would be a problem (unless they chose a bigoted religion with teachings that contradict the couple's lifestyle).0 -
Just to make you aware there was no adam and eve. Its called evolution so a situation where 2 single humans had to populate the earth has never happened it was merely a species evolving over many years .
Oh, next you'll be telling me santa doesn't exist.

So, tell me, what harm would it do to you, what difference would it make to your life, and most importantly what do you think gives one set of human beings have control over how another set choose to live their lives.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Of course it should. Being Gay is natural. I always think that homosexuality is Gods (or Mother Natures) form of birth control. If everyone on the planet was Hetrosexual then all the planets resources would have been ravaged years ago the planet would be an utter wasteland. Everyone breeding and having loads of children. Two people of the same sex cannot produce children and this is natures or Gods way of controlling the population. That is not saying that they gay people do not make excellent parents.
Anyone who thinks that homosexuality is weird, strange or not natural is backwards.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

I'm not sure I'd agree with that - nature doesn't know how close we are to "ravaging the planet's resources". As far as nature is concerned we are just vessels that produce sperm and eggs to pass on our DNA. If nature "wanted" to control the birth rate it could simply reduce the fertility rate. And it doesn't sound plausible that (an Abrahamic) God would create gay people to limit growth, but also tell us that "a man shall not lay with another man". But then the Bible is chock full of contradictions and errors, so what do I know!0 -
I think the OP should read the law on inciting homophobic hatred and especially trolling which due to the test case yesterday people can now go prison for.0
