Genetics is complicated. There are subtle interplays between propensity and environment. We will have to agree to disagree on the last point. I do agree that nature and nuture are both factors in the development of any person. At the risk of hijacking this thread I think I will shut up now. You all know where I stand on the issue, any more will just be circular argument. I do enjoy discussing beliefs etc on here, as long as everyone stays civilised about it.

Exactly. Why would anyone in their right mind choose to be gay with all the bigotry in the world against it? Its not a life choice !!!!!!!

I could SAY that I was straight, and I'd chosen to kick the gayness, but even if I was in bed with jessica biel, In my head I'd be ******* Jonas Bjerre (for instance).

Clearly noone has any right to state two people should not be able to get married, same sex or not. Using the "this is just my opinion" cop out is garbage. Opinion does not count on a subject like this as there is only one answer and yours isnt it.

As mentioned earlier, if a couple cannot have children then they also should not be allowed to get married according to your "opinion". I notice yourself or your 1940's themed friends have not commented on that.
