I am prepared to lose my tax free allowance this year and close my isa and move it in to a saver account till april. Then I can open another ISA.
Why not ask your new ISA provider to transfer your existing ISA to them. This means you won't lose any allowance.

Is that possible as I only opened my current one in april and not sure if you can have 2 in same tax year

    yes it is

you can only put new funds into one per year - i.e. actual cash into an isa - you can transfer between ISA as much as you like

I managed to log in but there is a 'technical problem' so can't see any of my accounts. They have until noon tomorrow before I start stamping my foot!

Why is it NONE OF THEM seem to be able to get it right?
  • My ISA came back.

    I wonder where it was?

Reminds me of the whole A&L - Santander fiasco. I hope they sort it quicker than Santander did!
Debt free and staying that way!
  • Except I can't transfer into or out of it!

    For goodness sake!

  • Wouldn't be so bad if they popped up with an apology and explanation as you sign in, they manage to do that offering loans enough!

Do I need it? Can I afford it? Is it cheaper elsewhere?
