Usually says on the packet eat within 2 or 3 days.

It was opened a week ago and has been in the fridge in tupperware,

I am just in from work, starving and want to eat it but don't want to be ill!

    Thanks.

Yes, I would eat it. Especially if it's been in the fridge and in a sealed container.

If you're going to grill or fry it, that should get rid of any nasties that might have grown on it since the pack was opened

There is a thread about food safety, so I have added your thread to that one to keep all the information together

    Thanks :)

I would open it, sniff it and and see. Its smells off don't eat it. Just make sure its cooked properly.
I've done it a few times and we've never suffered from food poisoning yet.

It's Rose, which we don't drink, we had it for OH's stepdad and it's going in a casserole tomorrow.
    A white wine box wouldn't survive a weekend here:beer:
