Unlike you skiving drivers I can't take days of when ever I like.23n1th wrote:Obviously you are too stupid to realise this and thats probably why you drive a van for a living.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. For a self employed driver at DPD, it costs £200 a day to take a day off. You obviously know nothing of the running of a courier business.
Obviously I don't, were I to run a courier business I would have my drivers put notices through the letterbox rather than leave it on the street.I do quite well. I'd happily bet I do better than you, I don't mind admitting that I have to work harder for it, but trying to put me down with the line "thats probably why you drive a van for a living" is amusing. I not only find that funny, but you as well.
Bet away. You not understanding that mail goes in the letterbox is probably is mildy amusing but you also have my pity for your obvious disability.0 -

Here's to hoping you're parcel has gone back to sender.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
@OP
You're an idiot.
Be in next time when your order something, rather than banging on about it on a forum afterwards.
Its your fault for not sending it to somewhere where someone was in.
Or what? The driver will leave the card n a gutter? on a car window screen? maybe near the shop round the corner?
I understand your just defending your industry, but how can it be ops fault that the driver left the card in the street?
If it was left somewhere she could find it, she could make alternative arrangements or contact them to permit the parcel to be left with neighboughs -- this will safe the driver further failed visits also. And he wouldn't have had to send the parcel back to the sender therefore loosing out on money.
Saying somebody should be in is also ridiculous, as annoying as it may be for drivers. I think more couriers should operate on a one delivery attempt basis, after which you have to rebook for a convenient day or permit it to be left with somebody near by until further attempts are made.
Alot of people prefer royalmail for this reason, as they can collect from a depot when convenient.0 -
You, are an idiot.
Here's to hoping you're parcel has gone back to sender.
I see the reason why you drive vans now, you can't read can you. Try and re-read the first post where I said it had been sent back to the sender.
When it gets re-delivered, I hope I get a certified genius of a driver, you know the ones who can actually deliver things to where they are ment to go. Not the ones that don't know the difference between a letterbox and a footpath.0 -
It has been sent back? I wasn't really paying attention. Good, as your attitude requires nothing less.I hope I get....
edit:
I'm out of this thread, as I find you abrasive.
Just pay for the delivery again. Try to be in this time.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Good luck with that
ha ha ha bonk.
I know:rotfl: "genius" and "van driver" are contradictions in terms but one can but hope.
I mean its a hard decision:
Driver: "Letterbox... Street... dddeeerrr...:doh::doh:... Street!"
Edit: Delivery not being paid for again, being redelivered when I am in so I can guide the idiot through the process of delivering packages properly.0 -
